@Dani718@FritesEnMayoBE I don’t assume anything but I have 0 doubts the city of Denver isn’t going to be able to fill that arena in time for a 6 pm start.
I find it fucking stupid we are dropping puck at 6pm in Denver, for home games, when money spending attendees work. If I were a Vegas or Anaheim fan, I'd be livid. 5pm?! All so... casual fans out east can maybe turn it on at 8 there, instead of 9/10?
@ChainsawMc@Dani718@Avalanche Speaking of overseas I agreed with my wife to book a two week trip to Japan 6/3-6/16. It wasn’t until playoffs started that I realized that’s during the cup finals.
@Dani718 We're far from "casual" fans.
Have cheered on the team since it became the @Avalanche in '95, through thick & thin, good & terrible.
Eastern time zone sucks, but not as bad as when we were stationed overseas.
We watch live, wherever we are & whatever time.

@BostonCashews5@RockofAges66 I would’ve been so pissed if they hadn’t wiffed and won 20 seconds into OT with how exhausted they were. So glad we won but that would’ve been a super gutsy win for the Wild if they stole that after how we stormed back.
@SharpFootball I’ll watch Thanksgiving because it’s a tradition. I won’t watch the Wednesday night game and the only reason I’ll watch the Black Friday one is the Broncos are my team. So Goodell got me on that one.
@KyletheWhaler@TheDegenWeekly Never gets old watching fans post dumb shit on social media long before games are over only for it to bite them in the ass.
The first thing I think about when something like this happens is all the fans who spent money on expensive tickets to watch this. Could make a good coffee table book about games that got out of hand quick. Title it: When Going to a Sporting Event Goes Wrong!
@citchmook My heart was racing 100 mph the entire time. The Avs would’ve lost 20 seconds in if the Wild didn’t completely wiff the 1 timer. But kulaks was a thing of beauty.
@AdamSchefter@krisrhim1 "Own the position" means throwing for 400 yards, losing 31-28, and still getting blamed for the defense giving up 500 yards.
Classic Chargers experience.
@bleauliner I was thinking about that series last night as well. I was talking to my brother about the Stanley cup after the game 2 blowout. And then we didn’t win again.
btw i hate sounding like a downer but im traumatized from that vegas series. i don’t think the wild have brought their best, partially because of the avs. but they’ll push much harder on saturday. i definitely wouldn’t count them out. avs gotta raise their game to keep winning
@marissavoss It’s comical how many normal, common playoff hockey hits happen all the time that fans love but it’s only when a player is slow to get up that they cry foul.
Avs fans are mostly cool. My only issue is their ridiculous obsession with “Makar is better than Hughes”
They’re both elite. They can’t just admit Hughes is a stud. Super super weird.
For a game that featured nine — count em, NINE — goals by the home team, that may have been the tightest, most see-saw game in the history of professional athletics.
