I'll be writing further about this and the humanitarian response more broadly in my monograph with @BrisUniPress: Debilitating Mobilities at Brazil's Northern Frontier. I'm still working on it though, so feel free to read this article (and the others!) in the meantime :)

New paper published in Migration and Society. Here I explore temporal structures created by military-humanitarian agencies in Brazil and how they work to govern the everyday mobilities of Venezuelan migrants living without shelter. Open access:
