@Ewok_Guy @IfightAutists @Rothmus What is your point? Civilians under our rule were slaughtered therefore it's just to murder civilians under their rule? Guilt by association is a fallacy. This is an evil position to hold. Justifying murder by a fallacy.

@silgikore @IfightAutists @Rothmus Who are you to say this for every last civilian slaughtered? Necessarily your assertion REQUIRES a 100% approval from every last civilian for that to be true. Also what of the Poles and their slaughter by soviets, were they "collectively" guilty for any crimes deserving murder?

@HaamerPoiss @IfightAutists @Rothmus No it's not, Hitler and Putin alike are responsible for allocating resources towards murder. They are at the top of their respective hierarchies. Civilians hold no such roles, this is a false equivalence.

@brew56200 @BeastAntares @AgoristN Credentialism isn't a valid substitute for facts and reason. If you can't demonstrate why, and have to rely on authority appeals and unreasoned assertions then you ought not be taken seriously. "I have credential x" doesn't make unreasoned assertions true, it's midwit delusion.

@brew56200 @BeastAntares @AgoristN Why presuppose that? You can't just open up with "bad stuff will happen without x" without reasoning why. You must explain the incentives first. Why assume the law of the jungle, why not natural law? You must explain, not just presume.

@Patriot55806870 @AgoristN And what of those who didn't ask, don't care, don't want their money to be stolen to fund... literally anything? You don't get to claim "look what I've done for you" when your expenses came involuntarily from that person's pocket.

@AgoristN Ah, another free rider who think he is entitled and can benefit of other people's work without paying for that. If you are not defending the borders of your country now or not paying someone to do that you are a parasite.

@fiat_money You see a smaller number and your chimp brain gets a pulse of excitement, ignorant to the context. No, the smaller blue line doesn't mean "this is efficient" or even close. You're comparing a state monopoly to red tape bureaucracy. Both systems are bad and inefficient.

@Darknesshas123 @DelusionPosting I know, that's why rent controls hurt the poor more of anyone. You need market competition to drive prices to their free market average. Destroy the profit incentives with rent controls, and they all get sold to upper middle class instead, those why CAN afford.

@fiat_money No, also don't make the fallacy of "smaller number = efficient" the state monopoly systems are woefully wasteful, visible in spending versus waiting lines. You are comparing a state monopoly to state interference, not free market healthcare. Turns out that red tape is costly!

@BronzeFace I am comparing a less regulated more market based system to a public one. You are coping because you don’t like data

@fiat_money You don't know what you're comparing. Bureaucracy, heavy regulation, disturbingly overreaching legal authority and cronyism isn't a criticism of market healthcare, you're comparing two different types of state interference. You're making a fallacy.

@fiat_money @keremey57 @CasuallyGreg @ninaturner This falls flat when you look at the absurd costs caused by central planning. Also ignoring subjective value, I don't value a road hundreds of miles away that I involuntarily paid for. Also just throwing out consent. We need it for sex, but not reallocating stealing trillions😶

@Omino21 @_Hazardous_Wolf Because as Mises demonstrated; a capitalist knows that he is efficiently allocating his resources when his profits increase, and misallocating when they go down. These signals are derived from the market, of everyone else doing the same thing. It's constantly changing to demand.

@BronzeFace @_Hazardous_Wolf How's profit a necessary input on this? The necessity is to manage production, in which operational research helps. Similarly it's not impossible to know demand by current tech in a timely manner. The allocation might not perfect but it's entirely workable.

Bastiat’s debunks Marx by showing that he focuses on the visible (worker hardship and capitalist profit) while ignoring the unseen: capital investment, risk, entrepreneurship, coordination, opportunity cost, and long-term systemic effects. Profit isn’t automatically theft; it can be payment for real economic contribution.

@CommieInaBox @_Hazardous_Wolf I don't see the relevance of this... Do you know what the ECP is? We don't appreciate taxes around here, for any purpose.

@_Hazardous_Wolf If our taxes were used to provide food and housing to Americans instead of conduct and fund war and genocide, our entire economy would collapse. Every minimum wage worker in the country would quit their job over night if their literal life wasnt being threatened.

@Omino21 @_Hazardous_Wolf Every time with the "tech will handle it" argument. Dude, you're fundamentally missing a required input variable. You can have all of the processing power to ever exist, but you can't solve the ecp without the input variables: profit. It's missing the point to an absurd degree.

@_Hazardous_Wolf Honestly I don't see how the ECP is necessarily "debunking". That's true that command economies in the 40s weren't able to effectivly answer it, but modern tech made such issues much easier to gain and manage information necessary for production.
