These boys at the Washington Nationals game thought it was funny to call a man and his wife the “F” word for no reason at all except to try and look like Alpha males in front of the girls that came with them.I do have all of their names, but won’t post them here.

Whenever someone leaves Islam for Christianity, some Christians immediately say: "He left darkness for light." And I always wonder... What darkness? The belief in one God? Prayer? Fasting? Charity? Staying away from alcohol and drugs? You can disagree with Islam all you want. But calling Islam "darkness" is one of the most ridiculous things I've ever heard.

Colorado Republicans: This is NOT who we want as our next Governor! While families are struggling with rising housing costs and failing schools, some in the GOP are focusing on Senate Resolution 25-004, recognizing “World Hijab Day.” Senator Barbara Kirkmeyer co-sponsored it, those that voted for it praised the hijab as a symbol of “dignity and respect for women.” But the hijab represents second-class status, restricted rights, and denial of freedoms for many women. American women fought for equality and liberty—not to promote symbols of oppression!

The Left in the European Parliament
The era of resistance begins. Today, the far right, with the help of the conservatives and liberals, pushed through the Deportation Regulation in the European Parliament. This is a shame for Europe. They are ushering in a period of fear, exclusion, raids and deportation.

I don't understand how there's no civil war when 250,000 daughters have been raped. Is the British Army ISIS⁉️ What the hell are they protecting⁉️ Why don't they stage a coup⁉️ When they go home, do they cover their own wives and children with black cloth and do horrible things to them too⁉️

I love America, but I hate to burst your bubble: if you are on Twitter, and you are getting posts about how Europeans visiting for the World Cup are completely in awe of American food and grocery stores— I have to be honest with you and tell you you are being fed complete nonsense by the algorithm. I’ve traveled to almost every European country, and there isn’t a single one which doesn’t have better grocery stores and higher-quality restaurant food than the USA. Just being honest, as a doctor should

@japan_nobunaga Mutually assured destruction and checks and balances. We are a skeptical culture. Guns only in the hands of government and bad guys (inevitable) seems bad. Of course many disagree.

Americans, teach me 🇺🇸 Japan has almost no guns and very low crime. America has lots of guns and a huge debate about it. But here's what genuinely confuses me: my American friends online feel SAFER with a gun, not less safe. Can someone explain that mindset to a curious Japanese guy? 🙏

British leaders keep saying the problem is "division on social media." I am Japanese. I read the news carefully. In Belfast this month, police confirmed the suspect travelled Sudan → Paris → Dublin → Belfast, then claimed asylum in 2023. In Southampton, a court confirmed the killer fabricated a racist attack to misdirect police while a student bled out. People are angry at the route and the system — not at a phone app. When a prime minister names a platform but not the visa that placed the suspect in the town, who is avoiding the argument?

FTP: LAPD killed her dog. He was wearing his Knicks jersey. His name was Jameson. A golden doodle. One of the sweetest, most gentle breeds alive. A neighbor called a noise complaint. That's it. 20+ officers showed up. Then a helicopter. For a noise complaint in an apartment complex. And they shot Jameson dead. In front of his owner. In front of her child. No warning. No de-escalation. Nothing. The media is barely covering this. No headlines. No outrage. Like it never happened. If this was your dog... your child watching... how would you feel? Jameson deserved better. That little boy deserved better. His mama deserved better.

As a Muslim, there's something that genuinely bothers me. Millions of Muslims live in Christian majority countries, build mosques, preach Islam publicly, distribute Qur'ans, open halal businesses, and demand religious freedom, and rightly so. Some even call for aspects of Shariah to be accommodated in the societies they've moved to. Yet in some Muslim majority countries, Christians cannot openly preach the Gospel, build churches freely, or practice their faith without restrictions. Why? If we demand religious freedom for ourselves, we should be willing to grant it to others. Truth does not need censorship. If Islam is the truth, it has nothing to fear from a church, a Bible, or a Christian preacher. You can't demand tolerance and freedom for Muslims abroad while denying the same freedoms to others at home. The double standard needs to be called out.

SHOCKING: The Rwandan immigrant Emmanuel Abayisenga had his asylum application in France rejected repeatedly since he filed it in 2012. Despite the deportation orders, he remained in the country illegally for years. The local priests entrusted him with the keys to the Nantes cathedral, assigning him the task of closing and caring for the building. After he set the cathedral on fire in 2020, destroying the organ and the choir, Father Maire took him into his own home, offering him shelter while awaiting trial. He then murdered Father Maire the following year. Suicidal empathy in a nutshell. Almost unbelievable.

USA. Summer. It is 95 degrees outside, and I am shivering inside a sandwich shop. I have discovered how Americans forge strong souls. Outside, the sun is trying to kill everyone. Inside this small restaurant, it is winter. My breath does not fog, but it is thinking about it. A man near me is eating a cold sandwich while wearing a jacket. In summer. Indoors. In Japan we would simply turn it down. Americans do not turn it down. And now I understand them better than they understand themselves. This cold is not an accident. This cold is a gift. The owner has built, inside his shop, a second season. He invites you in from the brutal heat and hands you the one thing the sun has denied you all day: a reason to be cold. To endure it is to be tempered. You walk in soft and sweating. You walk out sharp and clear, a slightly stronger person than you were. So I did not complain. I removed my outer layer and offered it to the woman at the next table, who was hugging herself. She said, "Oh, no, I'm fine, thank you." She was not fine. Her lips were blue. But she, too, understood the training. She would not break first. I respected her deeply. The owner asked if everything was okay. "It is perfect," I said, through my teeth, which were chattering. "Thank you for the winter." He said, "...I can turn the AC down if you want?" I told him no. A man does not ask the mountain to be shorter. I stayed two hours. I ordered a hot coffee to survive. Then a second one, to hold. By the end I could no longer feel my hands, but my spirit had never been clearer. So now, on the hottest days, I seek out the coldest rooms. I sit. I shiver. I sharpen. And when I finally step back out into the summer heat, and it wraps around me like a warm bath, I feel it. Reborn. A man who has survived the winter, in August, indoors, for the price of a sandwich.

I was for the guy in 2024, but this is trashy as hell, fit for a Rhinestone Caligula, not the President of the United States. But here we are. (Don't come back at me with that Biden-&-the-Trannies thing. That was worse than this. Gross indignities are not mutually canceling.)

I don’t understand the urge of so many people to indulge their inner Maude Flanders when criticizing Trump. It’s ok to just say, “this is classless.” Acting as if you need a fainting couch isn’t helping your cause.
John Jackson@hissgoescobra

I I’ll never forgive people who voted for Trump. This is on them. The Lincoln Memorial is hallowed ground. Where our greatest president, who gave his life to end slavery, is commentated. Where the Gettysburg Address is written. We live as graffiti now.
