@blairadowler I think social media marketing will continue to rise and become the most common form of marketing. I also think that AI will become more widely used by businesses. Trends are hard to predict, but I think SM marketing will continue to incorporate the newest trends. #mktg475

@blairadowler A brand that missed the mark with social media was Pepsi when they had an ad that featured Kendall Jenner, which focused on a social issues like protesting. At first they did not issue an apology, but eventually did, since they realized they missed the mark. #mktg475

@blairadowler A brand that I think misses the mark sometimes is American Eagle. I will say that they do a great job gearing their content towards teenagers, but those aren't the only people that buy their clothes. I think some of their content is a little too adolescent at times. #mktg475

@blairadowler I feel that American Eagle has spot-on social media strategies. I see AE mostly on Instagram but also on TikTok. They use influencers like Addison Rae to boost their brand. They also sell Grinch items during Christmas that sell fast because it’s very trendy. #mktg475
