No. We voted overwhelmingly for residential expansion along Harvard Street. We want to grow, and especially close to transit. My main argument against a proliferation of commercial signs is that it discourages exactly the residential growth we want.

So you went to Allston and took that picture?! You had no data and unfortunately it was voted down because many people want to keep Brookline as is. This town is growing and we need leadership that represents that.

WA13 would have discouraged housing development along the Harvard St. corridor. Brookline needs more housing and our businesses need more customers. That’s a win/win that PAX supports

It’s up to those proposing a change from the status quo to make a compelling argument, supported by data or not. Petitioners failed to do so in the case of WA13, and Town Meeting rejected their proposal, accordingly.

Article 13 would have negatively impacted mixed use residential/commercial neighborhoods poised for housing development. I described it as an (unintended) anti-housing warrant article.

Trump in 2016 on anti-trans bathroom bills: Leave it the way it is right now. There have been very few problems. Leave it the way it is....There have been very few complaints the way it is. People go. They use the bathroom that they feel is appropriate. There has been so little trouble.
