I didn’t have Easter weekend with the lurgy that’s been doing the rounds on my bingo card but hey ho. I was £17 for 3 cough bottles in boots & paid £11 for Night Nurse WTAH! Least it came with a measuring cup but I’ve still slugged fae the bottle after a hellish night ! 🥶

@fuzzyweebear Lot of my swimming buddies have Apple Watches in the pool to track their swimming habits. I just don’t trust a watch to be that waterproof!!

@Broon374 It was one of my physios had suggested it to keep track of things as my walking is never that great, I think it works better if you have an Apple Watch for a lot of it which I’m considering. 🤔

@London_W4 And definitely not along the edge of a swimming pool. There are other things you cannot do at or in the pool if memory serves!! 🤔😉😂

This is good advice not just for train stations, but life in general. Running is never a good idea.

@fuzzyweebear Just having a dec at it. I’m not on any meds (thankfully) don’t use app to its full potential. should though. Lots in there. tend to use the fitness one but just for a step count really. Got to remember and put phone in my pocket! Do a lot of swimming. No good in the pool!!

The Long Good Friday. Watching the sun setting over London from the top of St Paul’s Cathedral. I took this, but not tonight as it’s cloudy and I’m not at St Paul’s Cathedral. Anyway, if you haven’t yet watched The Long Good Friday film, then tonight is the night. Go and find it and watch it. Whoever wrote it had a crystal ball as to what would happen in London. So my daughter’s work are, at this very moment, bringing staff in to arranged meetings to tell them whether they have a job or not. Corporate greed, nothing more nothing less. Miss K (eldest) will find out in about 5 minutes whether she is being made redundant or not 🫣

Do people who don’t understand, or dismiss, per capita not realise that the same mathematical analysis applies to medication? Drug A: more widely used & causes side effects in 100 per 80k doses. Drug B: less common but side effects in 20 per 3k doses. Which drug is more risky?

One of the affects of having been a police officer (not exclusive to policing) is that you do see somethings differently to others. I hate Easter BH weekend, because bad things always happen on this weekend. Bad people know it’s a time of least available resource.

I’m unreasonably excited for the return of the County Championship. Why? It’s proper sexy cricket! Bowlers build pressure. Boundaries mean something. It’s a marathon, not a sprint. Endurance and consistency win the race. It’s authentic! So get yourself to a game on a sunny day this season. Unwind, relax and quietly soak it all in. It’s absorbing. In a world that feels increasingly artificial, county cricket still feels genuine.
