I hope they put some limitations on IRL streaming at TwitchCon cause everyone walking around streaming is not it. Most of these people are already socially inept & tech addicted. It will only get worse.

One of the easiest ways Twitch could be improved is by shifting its focus back to GAMING. Esports are no longer a weird niche. The International Olympic Committee officially approved esport games with the first edition scheduled for 2027 in Saudi Arabia. Prize purses are in the millions. As much fun I had with friends & mutuals the IRL atmosphere was insufferable 😤 Nothing against IRL streams, but there needs to be sections for them to do that at any convention they go to so they can respect the rights of those who don’t want to be on camera. I don’t remember verbally consenting, signing or seeing anyone signing media releases forms to allow their likeness to be shown live by theses content creators 👀 Friends & mutuals of mine use avatars and would like to not be seen on someone’s stream to protect their privacy & identities. And that needs to be respected. Some of us really want to live and enjoy the moment instead of being apart of someones clip farming, rage content, & ego boosting 😒 I hope future conventions are taking notes of these reactions to curate a safer and more private space for their attendees 📝 #MTGA #MakeTwitchGreatAgain
