Little consolation to Nottingham Forest but at least PGMO has acknowledged the referee was wrong to allow Matheus Cunha’s goal for Manchester United after Bryan Mbeumo clearly handled. He trapped the ball, controlled it. VAR intervened, encouraged the referee to look at the monitor and consider overturning his wrong decision, but the referee stuck with his decision. VAR was not the problem. VAR recommended the goal be disallowed. Fortunately, there was nothing riding on the game. Otherwise, the game could possibly have been looking at a legal dispute.

Congratulations to Celtic on winning the title and you have to feel for Hearts. The title won by 2pts the day after the SFA admit Hearts should’ve had a penalty v Motherwell in a game they dropped 2pts. But Hearts fans just need to accept that human error with no consequences.

Not condoning goading Shankland on the pitch, but he’d already shown his bad loser streak when confronting Saracchi,then his foul on Maeda which warranted a 2nd yellow. He wasn’t assaulted & this isn’t self-defence but over-reaction to being called a w⚓️

The sheer scale of the venom being directed at Celtic and their fans is more than just about football. It is rooted in Scotland's baleful legacy and history of anti-Irish Catholic racism and bigotry. We were on our knees as a community when Celtic was established in 1888. In 2026 we stand tall. And the reason we do stand tall is largely because of Celtic, and how the club has provided us with a sense of pride in an identity that is rooted in defiance not compliance.
