🚨AN APOLOGY I said in my video that the team who are top of the league at the split will, ‘more often than not’, be given a home game in the final fixture. I was WRONG. It’s even worse than I thought. In the last 16 seasons it has happened 15 times. For season 25/26 it will read: Top At Break - Hearts Last Game - Away to Celtic A disgrace. #Hearts #Rangers #Celtic

Celtic getting home advantage on the last game is a disgrace. Home advantage should always go to the team top of the league at the split, not the team in third

@Authw8 Hubris pure and simple. They didn't see it coming because they were too big for this kind of thing to happen to them. It's no deeper than that.

between this and the holdo maneuver i feel like i need to sit down and talk to movie writers about military tactics. if you're going to introduce a "clever" maneuver to win a battle, you need to have a reason it wouldn't ordinarily work, or at least a reason nobody's thought of it before. and the answer probably shouldn't be "it's super dangerous" because war is already very dangerous. if a tactic works, people are going to use it. plus in any sort of modern or sci-fi setting, anything a ship with a crew can do can probably be copied by a specialized design that pilots itself or is piloted remotely. actual "clever" maneuvers on the battlefield are more likely to be opportunistic. a commander notices an unusual situation and improvises an unexpected solution. or you make use of local knowledge the other side doesn't have. or you read the terrain better and end up in a favorable battlefield position. or you notice a mistake the enemy made and exploit it ruthlessly. but in order for the maneuver to be cool, you need to explain why it isn't normally possible. otherwise you just make one side look sort of dumb for not seeing it coming.

This moment when a Hammerhead Corvette rams into one Star Destroyer, making it crash into another, and destroying the Shield Gate above Scarif at the end of Rogue One. Never even considered that this was a possibility, so it’s safe to say my mind was blown when I first watched this happen on opening night back in 2016.

@TheCinesthetic The main problem with Solo and other Star Wars movies in recent years is that fans had an idea in their heads about what they wanted to see and anything that differed from those preconceived ideas was shat upon. Sad really because Solo was a really good origin story.

You may not remember it, but Disney once made a movie called Condorman (1981), about a comic-book artist who becomes a secret agent with a winged flight suit fighting the KGB. A wonderfully bizarre piece of Disney history.

Just Saw a video of a nurse who bought a Car Wash. Paid $300,000 for it, took 100% of profits for a year to pay off the loan. Now makes $4-6k a week from it working 10-15 hours a week & was able to retire from nursing career. Why aren’t more people doing this!?

Some huge news coming out of Clyde FC in the last 24 hours. They could be moving back to Glasgow for the first time since 1991, when they shared Firhill with Partick Thistle. They’d be moving to the Stepford Football Centre near Easterhouse, and there would be room for them to develop the space too. This would be massive for Clyde and bring an end to almost 35 years away from their spiritual home. It’s not Shawfield. It’s not Rutherglen. But it might just do.

@CelticFamily67 What I'm about to say will go down like a lead balloon but there are some in our support that need to learn some humility. Winning nothing might do them some good.

This time absolutely no doubt - blatant handball by same guy, Brad Lyons. Lifts his hand up & palms it like a volleyball shot. Celtic robbed at Rugby Park by the refs AGAIN. Absolute shocker. Celtic robbed of 3 points.

For all the whinging about the seven minutes added on at Kilmarnock. Seven minutes was light in truth with the lengthy stoppages for Lyons and Thompson and all the subs… sour grapes springs to mind and jealousy…

@JimSpenceDundee If the Killie boy had prevented the throw in at the end it was 2-2. What on earth? How do Celtic keep getting so lucky? And winning in the 98th minute every week IS luck.

''Hearts came away from the game with nothing in the end. Missing key players should have impacted them more than it has, indicating the resilience that Derek McInnes has installed in his side, but that didn't look like a team of champions today. Other than the two gifts bestowed on them by Rangers’ defence, little else of note was created. Earlier today, Celtic quite incredibly won a game in the 98th minute of seven minutes of added time. Neil McCann was left furious as his Killie side threw away a two-goal lead and missed several chances to kill off a Celtic side that keeps winning despite struggling. The former Dundee manager was left irate as to where the officials found seven minutes of injury time from, given there were no major stoppages to warrant it. That's three games in a week where Celtic have somehow been afforded inordinate amounts of time to keep up with Rangers and Hearts. Seven times this season they have managed to score winning goals in injury time. Statistically, it's off the charts and when you look at the dodgy penalty the last time Celtic limped to victory in Ayrshire on top of today's unlikely win, it's very difficult to understand how their fans contrive to believe there's a conspiracy against them... There's a feeling now that the runners are turning into the home straight now and so much will hinge on form. Celtic haven't won a game comfortably for weeks, but the wins have kept coming. Rangers don't seem to be catching fire despite a few signs of ignition, but aren't dropping away. Hearts have slowly been reeled in but have some very winnable fixtures before the split and will benefit from the Old Firm game coming up. You could throw a tea towel over the three sides at the moment and the post-split fixtures will be key, with Rangers having to go to Parkhead and Tynecastle and facing the toughest run. There's a long way to go and most of Scottish football will be hoping that Celtic don't stagger over the line in first place, with Hearts a popular choice to end an Old Firm domination that looked unbreakable for four decades.'' @alstra78 on Rangers dominance over Hearts today and the fantastic title race we look set to have. The whole column (as usual) is an absolute must read. patreon.com/posts/kneejerk…
