@found_it_funny The wikipedia page about Anton LaVey, founder of the Church of Satan, differs between english and other languages, like german, specially about his origins... It seems that the english version tries to reject claims of his jewish heritage for 'antisemetic reasons', interesting...

@wojczym @ClippyMagic Well, now you (and I) have something to research and find out. :)
English

First time trying to draw in two-point perspective. It is a view on a buildings from the previous drawing with some changes that make the drawing look more advanced, Just look at the statue! #art @ClippyMagic

English

@Heathen59255529 @AnonXIV14 The Roman Empire didn't fall because of homossexuals, what a stupid thing to believe... I think her grandfather might just be a retard. It's the same situation as Cleopatra's: "Don't believe what they tell you in school, Rome fell because of gays".
English

@Templarpilled That is an extremely oversimplication and romantization of our past. Men of all shapes and forms pushed european civilization forward. Our civilization was built through the commulative efforts of millions across social strata, generations and both sexes.

English

Historically, men who weren't nagged or striving for female attention pushed civilization forward

J🇺🇸@the_fem_tm
Incels think sex robots will replace women but they severely underestimate the utility of our nagging. Men who aren’t nagged or striving for female attention tend to live on a mattress on the floor, devoid of purpose, playing video games and watching porn all day. Bleak.
English

@VJMPub That's why football is a multimillion and multinational global industry funded by the very powerful as a tool for social pacification and a distraction from the actual problems facing society today.
English

@DefiantLs Even though he looks hideous with that and the 'point' he's trying to make is not working, some of you keyboard warriors would also call your ancerstors 'fag9ots' because of their "feminine" clothes and appearances:

English

@tendekai_mukasi @donvitosballchz @CNviolations That's true, but what has that got to do with this? Vikings and early medieval societies were also using soap, since they came after the romans...
English

@BrubenRuno @donvitosballchz @CNviolations The Romans: Interestingly, the Romans—famous for their elaborate bathhouses—didn't actually use soap for most of their history. They preferred to rub their skin with olive oil and then scrape it off with a metal tool called a strigil. It wasn't until the 2nd century CE....
English

@tendekai_mukasi @CNviolations There was extreme wealth difference within orders. A powerful archbishop (clergy) might have more wealth than a poor baron (nobility), a wealthy merchant (technically third estate) might have more money than a knight, and a well-to-do peasant might be as wealthy as a burgher.
English

@BrubenRuno @CNviolations So no class systems before the Industrial Revolution.
The first industrial revolution happens in 1760.
The Romans, Greeks, British ect all had a Royal family, that is a class systems.
The France had
The Clergy
The Nobility
The Commoners
Before the industrial revolution
English

@tendekai_mukasi @CNviolations Orders or estates meant that an individual’s position was determined by their role and the legal status of the hierarchical level to which they belonged, making honour and privilege the main driving forces of social organisation, rather than the mere possession of wealth.
English

@tendekai_mukasi @CNviolations Classes are usually defined by income and economic power, allowing for social mobility, the differences between them are only economic and wealth-based. Medieval and Early Modern societies were caracterized by a hierarchy of three orders/estates.
English

@tendekai_mukasi @donvitosballchz @CNviolations Also, by bathing historians mean immersing completely in water, but they washed every other day parts of their body with water and soap, by changing clothes, grooming and other methods. Anglo-Saxons and other Europeans also practiced regular bathing and grooming.
English

@donvitosballchz @CNviolations Nah, telling the truth. Y'all were nasty.
Look at the Romans.
The vikings bathed once a week on Saturday they called it laugardagur.
English

@tendekai_mukasi @donvitosballchz @CNviolations You're clearly ideologically captured and there's no reasoning with you, is there? Even if shown evidence of the opposite of your claims.
Vikings were notably clean, bathing weekly on 'bath day', but they weren't unique.
English

@tendekai_mukasi @CNviolations Are you blind? Most of those present in these illuminations are not part of the elite, do these people look like nobility to you. I can show many more sources or studies on this topic. Also, there were no 'classes' before the industrial revolution, only orders.
English

@BrubenRuno @CNviolations Those were the rich people.
Check the common working class
English

@WeirdMedieval I don't think I need an early life for this one, you're jewish.

Britain is good at absorbing immigrants and allowing them to thrive. A government determined to harass them is not only likely to fail to hit its unrealistic targets. It will damage one of the country’s greatest strengths economist.com/britain/2026/0…

@wojczym Who would reside in these buildings? It looks very similar to a wealthy townhouse.
