Golda Meir stole the home of the Palestinian man Hanna Bisharat and used it as her residence during her reign as a Prime Minister.
Hanna Bisharat built his villa in the Talbiya neighbourhood of Jerusalem in 1926. This picture of him and his family was taken in 1929. It was known as Harun al-Rashid’s palace, in reference to the famous Abbasid caliphate who ruled a rich and powerful empire.
Golda Meir, the Israeli prime minister, later lived in Bisharat’s house after his family was forced out. She told media in June 1969:
“There were no such thing as Palestinians.”

The investigation focuses not on the perpetrators, but on whether officials in the Military Advocate General’s office helped leak the video to Channel 12. Israel’s chief military prosecutor, Maj. Gen. Yifat Tomer-Yerushalmi, has taken leave amid the scandal. Earlier, prosecutors indicted five reservists at Sde Teiman for “severe abuse” that left a detainee with broken ribs, a punctured lung, and a torn rectum. Efforts to hold them accountable sparked riots outside Israeli bases – dubbed Israel’s “right-to-rape” rallies – as civilians defended the soldiers accused of raping Palestinians.

"Agent became flustered when she couldn't repeat the number... then just lunged at her," said daughter.
She showed agents work permit, social security card, drivers license, and car registration—they arrested her anyway.
"I want this video out there because I want my mother home," explained her 16-year-old daughter.
Jaykie Funez-Andrade is currently being detained at the Rockingham County Jail with no pending criminal charges—as a "courtesy" to ICE.

The Czech Republic denied entry to an Israeli reservist who fought in Gaza and Lebanon and is accused of committing genocidal crimes. He was held for hours at Prague’s airport before being informed of a Schengen-wide ban issued by France.
Four armed officers confronted him and his wife at passport control, citing serious criminal allegations. Despite efforts to contact the Israeli embassy, the couple was forced to return to Israel.
