How do abortion restrictions impact birth rates? Our analysis in @JAMA_current studied the impact of the 2021 Texas Heartbeat Act on counts of lives births. We find ~9800 births above expectation between Apr-Dec 2022 (3% increase) in Texas. (Work w/ Suzanne Bell & @Lizstuartdc)
