🌟 Fantastic news for Glebe Farm Library and Community Centre 🌟 Working alongside the Council’s Social Value team, Hays has awarded £25k to Welcome Change 🎉 Welcome Change, a long‑established partner of the Council, maintains the building as both a library and a vibrant community space. 📚 The funding will help strengthen the services they provide for residents, including benefit, wellbeing and employment support, breakfast clubs, kids clubs and a popular community pantry. 🥣🎨 🛒 Yesterday saw colleagues from Hays come together alongside residents and ward councillors Cllr Marje Bridle and Cllr John Cotton, to celebrate the boost for this much‑loved community hub. 💛






Birmingham communities are feeling the positive impact of nearly £2 million invested in the city’s wellbeing centres and grassroots sports clubs through the UK Government’s Shared Prosperity Fund. 🌟 Funding has delivered: 🏋️ Upgrades across six wellbeing centres 🏃 •Improved gym spaces at Small Health, Nechells and Kingstanding •New LED lighting for the astro pitch at Small Health •New toning table at Shard End 🚿 Refreshed facilities at Linden Road Swimming Pool 🌊 •Modernised showers •New changing areas ⛵ Support for seven grassroots sports clubs 🏏 •New cricket nets at Sparkhill Cricket Club •New front of house receptionat Birmingham BMX Club •Two disability accessible boats for Midland Sailing Club 👇 See below pictures of Linden Road Swimming Pool before and after refurbishment












Construction is well underway on 10 new affordable homes on Trescott Road, Northfield. 🏘️ ✔️ 100% affordable ✔️ All for social rent ✔️ Families moving in June 2026 ✔️ Partnership with TR Partnership Homes & @MidlandHeart It is one of 5 partnership schemes delivering 453 affordable homes across Birmingham. In the last year, we have delivered 1,000 affordable homes.
