@StanCollymore It’s not hard to see that Carlos is the weak link. Every game he loses possession, hands all over strikers, last ditch tackles. He just doesn’t read the game.

English

Diego Carlos is an error machine. He does that startlingly often, he just often gets away with it. Such a big drop-off at centre-back whenever he plays. #AVFC

@bostonmarathon @BAA @BankofAmerica @BAA you should make the non binary times the male times. Why would being non binary make you a slower runner or/and give you an advantage over male runners?
English

@bostonmarathon @BAA @BankofAmerica male on the edge of qualification.Easy, sign up to any other marathon and “pretend” to be non binary. With that time apply for Boston as non binary and you’re in. Once completed go back to being not non binary. Such a flawed system, I know people have already taken advantage of

Following a successful registration week for the 129th Boston Marathon presented by @BankofAmerica, the @BAA today announced updates pertaining to the next 2️⃣ editions of the Patriots’ Day race!💙💛

@stevemagness My pace goes up with stride length. My cadence is very between the same across all speeds

@Dan_Nash94 I read a book that said wearing gloves and then keeping them wet in marathon races has a positive benefit on the body!

@Dan_Nash94 Reason I asked is I went out hot yesterday on a HM, pulled it back after first mile but was shocked how fatigued the legs felt at mile 3 onwards. Only thing I can think is the first mile took its toll on me. Appreciate the response and reading my way through your thesis

English

@Brumierunner Most of the research describes what an optimal marathon pacing strategy is (even/slight negative split) rather than explain the "why?".
Going out fast & then settling isnt going to be optimal, probably due to increased glycogen use & reduced economy rather than lactate build up
English

@Dan_Nash94 morning Dan, have any studies been done to see the overall impact and effect of going off to fast in a marathon? For example running at threshold pace from the gun then slowing down at say mile 4? Is there a build up of lactic immediately that then can’t be shifted?

@FlagstoneGroup More importantly, when are you developing/ releasing an App that we can use to access our accounts?

All eyes will be on the Bank of England's Monetary Policy Committee when they meet this Thursday.
Will they cut the base rate, after holding it at 5.25% for nearly a year?

@prince_asanda @Im_RobM The stats are facts young man. To lose the ball means you’ve had the ball, called for the ball, moved for the ball. Football is about opinions, but facts are facts.
English

@Brumierunner @Im_RobM Scoring a goal means you’re playing good?😂
You need to start watching football with your eyes and not focus on stats
Everytime Jude has the ball he loses it
