The main philosophical conflict inside Ukrainian leadership right now is that they're running out of men and the military guys are saying “we need more men” and civilians (like Fedorov) are saying “let's just replace all the men with drones then” and it doesn't really work that way even though it sounds cool and futuristic, but most people prefer things that sound cool and futuristic, particularly if you have pretty slide decks and use the term “AI” a lot, which is why Fedorov is more popular than Syrski. Zelensky for all his faults is not a complete retard and initially picked Syrski over Fedorov when they started beefing. We'll see how it plays out.
