The real issue is that the government lacks genuine institutional capacity — something all experts loudly deny. What this administration should have prioritized above all else is convincing Volodymyr Zelenskyy to end the war. Instead, its members continue to build careers and fortunes on its prolongation.

After hitting her, they dragged her off the road and left her there. People will go to any lengths to save their loved ones. Watch the video. The brutality of Ukrainian recruitment officers knows no bounds. Forced mobilization continues despite earlier promises by the authorities to make the process ‘more humane.’ Judging by what is happening, those promises have remained just words.

Real question and I don’t care who it pisses off, why should we vote for Republicans in November? Mass deportations aren’t happening. Most of us are single issue voters on immigration and DHS under Markwayne has decided they would rather appease CNN and MSNBC. Republicans won’t pass Save America, they won’t support the mass deportations we voted for. They haven’t done, frankly, jack shit outside of a tax cut extension. So why? Why push Maine to vote for Susan Collins? Because at least she’s not an admitted communist? In the end, though, what’s really the difference? Vote Republican, get Democrat policy anyway.

Today, northern Zhytomyr Regional Military Administration banned all fuel stations in Korosten district from operating during air alerts. Staff & customers must evacuate to shelters immediately. It could be bringing us closer to finding out whether Moscow's ambitions REALLY end with Ukraine. With refineries burning, fuel shortages growing, and key shipping routes disrupted, the pressure on the Kremlin is mounting. And when backed into a corner, Putin has historically escalated rather than compromised. Imagine a scenario where Russia picked a fight with a smaller NATO member, like Latvia or Lithuania. It would likely start with deniable incursions, border incidents, cyberattacks, or the seizure of small pieces of territory, just enough to leave NATO arguing over whether Article 5 applies. And that is where NATO's biggest weakness comes in. It doesn't act by instinct; it acts by political consensus. 32 governments have to agree not only that an attack has occurred, but on how far they're willing to go in response. The more ambiguous the attack, the easier it becomes for national interests to pull that consensus apart. If NATO hesitates, the frontline state faces an impossible choice: accept the instigations, or escalate on its own and hope help comes later. Russia doesn't need to defeat NATO militarily. 🇺🇦 The same day Ukraine's parliament voted for the 20th time to extend martial law, they also found time to pass a bill decriminalizing adult pornography in its first reading. 231 in favor, 8 against, 3 abstaining. The same bill toughens penalties for child sexual abuse material, and lawmakers say the real point is regulating an industry that's operated in a legal gray zone for years while cutting the police corruption tied to enforcing the old law. Maybe the policy logic checks out on paper. The optics are still rough. The Rada also voted out its own Prime Minister that same session, soldiers are dying on the front line every day, and somewhere in between all of that lawmakers carved out floor time to legalize OnlyFans style content. Zelensky didn't personally push this bill. Deputies across party lines have been trying to pass some version of it since before the war even started, and that context is fair to mention. It still doesn't change how it looks from the outside, a country three and a half years into a full scale war spending a parliamentary session debating porn law on the same day it extends martial law again.
