The Economist reports a poll showing that the share of travelers who don’t feel welcome in the United States has more than doubled in just one year. At the same time, the share of people who want to visit has been cut almost in half.
Tourism is not only about landmarks or hotels. It is about how a country makes people feel before they even arrive.
Do they expect openness? Do they feel invited?
Here is the uncomfortable reality: the current U.S. administration has done everything possible to discourage people from wanting to visit America.
