The basketball Gods are good. Gave me an early game on thursday when my daughter had a choir concert that night, and gave me a night game tonight when Mom's funeral was this morning. And both were Nebrasketball victories!!!! #MarchMadness #Nebrasketball

@eliash10 As someone who has a football tattoo (got it right after the '97 title) I would advise against it. I always feel like I cursed the program, and if I could afford it would get it removed.

@LetsGoDU I don't see Carle leaving the team with the most NCs in collegiate hockey for a team that has only won 5. Plus DU has way better talent on the roster. Granted if did leave he could get the same talent to a new school. The only advantage I see is Minny might have deeper pockets.

Mom passed early this morning. She was surrounded by family all week while at home in hospice. She was so loved and admired by us all. She'll be missed, but she is no longer in pain and is walking with the Lord now. I thank God for the extra time we got. Love you forever Mom.

@omavshkyfan I blame the DJ and turning the music up 100 decibels in the arena.

At the end of the day, we should've known the season was doomed as soon as the road jerseys got lost at sea. The ones we got had a spell on them.

(1) Today we met w/ Hospice. Momma will be heading home tomorrow (she's been in the hospital or rehab since 2/7). Mom is done fighting, so tomorrow begins the end journey for her. We got 3+ yrs w/ her since discovering the Stage 4 NSCLC in Nov 22...

(2) It hurts so much, but at least Mom will be pain free. Gonna spend as much time as I can w/ her while I still can. I'll love you forever Momma!!

@SecretAgentMav I feel bad he got stuck with this team in his final season and got injured. He should have easily been the all-time wins leader. Just Sad he finished 1 W away.

Now that Omaha's season is over. Latkoczy is going pro. Do we think he goes back to Europe? I don't think any teams on this side of the pond will like his size.

I wonder what Omaha's W-L would be if they never had to play the 2nd period. Feels like Omaha has been outscored 100-0 in the 2nd this season.

@omavshkyfan in'23 Omaha won the first game and lost the last 2.

This is the 4th time UND and Omaha will meet in the Qtrs, that's the most in NCHC Qtrs history. This is also the 3rd time in the previous 4 seasons they will meet. Omaha hosted in '23 as the 3 seed and '25 as the 4 seed. UND swept both series, 3-2, 3-2, 4-0 and 4-3

It's an extra home game, you don't have to pay a Canadian school (Manitoba) to come to your barn, you don't have to make a return trip, all proceeds benefit both programs, and it would be fun for the fans. I see only upside to it, unless there is some NCAA bylaw that forbids it.

So here's a fun thought, and maybe there are rules that prohibit it, but... Seen a post mentioning how the club team is heading to the National Tourney. Makes me wonder, why doesn't @OmahaHKY ever play the club team in exhibition? (con't)
