Soybean aphids – present in East ON, but only at detection level. Currently on newly emerged top trifoliate. To scout, best to look for plants with lady beetles or ants present

Soybean aphid progression at UoG, Winchester Research Station: population is levelling off at ~2,600 aphids/plant. Slight increase in number of beneficial insects. Of significance is the development of fungal disease on some of the aphids, especially in the lower part of canopy.
