The “sitting out multiple seasons in a row” outcome occurs the second (or 3rd, 4th, etc.) time the hero is benched. They then sit out a number of seasons = to times they’ve been benched. E.g. if Chane is voted out before set 20 release, he’ll sit out 2 seasons.

I keep seeing this question in various places so, to clarify: Only a hero that particpated in the previous SAGE season is eligble to be benched come voting time. E.g., when we go to vote before the release of Set 19, Chane cannot be voted for. He'll be back (with card bans).

@ACHILLES2032 Can’t say for sure, as this isn’t anything I work directly on. All I see are numbers. Team that does handle it is very smart, and pays very close attention though. I’d trust them to make thoughtful and data-driven decisions both presently and in the future.

@BryanGFaB Not to drag you too far into this, but do you know why there's been a lot of anecdotal evidence of people with fewer in their area? I assume it's just a lot of new stores?

Legitimate question as it seems I misrepresented what lss has said on the podcast: are there fewer rtns in the US? Everyone I've talked to has said they have fewer than usual, is this anecdotal? Just trying to clarify and make sure im not saying things that arent true, thanks!

@BryanGFaB Conversion rates are volatile with lower the representation. Were several rouge decks that snuck in to top 8 apart of your top 5 conversion rates?

Unique stat from RTN Week 1 that I don't recall ever seeing before: The top 5 most played decks were Marionette, Gravy, Verdance, Kayo, Kassai. Only one of these decks is in the top 5 for conversion rate, and its in 5th place.

@Matthew_W_FAB Much of what we do is shaped around our most enfranchised players, but not everything can be. We polled on this change in recent surveying because we needed to be 100% sure it was having intended effect. It was OVERWHELMINGLY popular, and produced our most attended season ever.

@Matthew_W_FAB I’m not going to try to convince any individual they should like it. I understand personal disappointment in not being able to play. I hope dedicated players can accept that occasionally we’ll ask for understanding around policies that are in the overall best interest of the game

LSS will continue to bleed some of its most enfranchised players to Riftbound because it is barring them from competing after winning. In a retailer's newsletter on August 6th, LSS told the LGS, "We align, not undermine." OP is undermining some of their most passionate players.

Running two unique live stream setups has proven to be a massive burden on the production team, so we had to prioritize tournament coverage. HQ YouTube keynote recording will be up soon after conclusion, and I bet our fav content creators will be streaming if you just can’t wait!

@Ch0ppyo @karlim00 Yeah, that's kinda what I'm getting at though, I didn't think your deck was bad at all... just in one case, CYB made winning harder. And this isn't faulting you guys, it's just where I realized my words were almost never going to be taken at face value even by brilliant players
