@stevejoseph69 @SCTurfClub @RadioTABAus @SkyRacingAU It was very sad news to hear the passing of a likeable larrikin and a good trainer, my memories of Mick go back to when he was apprenticed to my father and every time I bumped into him at the races he would remind me of what we got up to when we were kids! RIP Mick!

Absolutely gutted to hear this.. Legendary QLD trainer Mick Mair has passed. Mick fought to the very end (cancer) his amazing horsemanship & quick quips made him such a likeable person. Only saw him a few months ago @SCTurfClub #RIP @RadioTABAus @SkyRacingAU
