We took a tangible step forward, launching our headquarters’ solar energy system and increasing the share of clean, renewable energy powering our operations. This investment goes beyond infrastructure. It signals a deliberate shift in how we think about growth, efficiency, and responsibility, building a business that is resilient today and sustainable for the future. ESG is not a department. It’s a mindset. One of the most persistent myths in corporate life is that sustainability belongs to a team, something you can point to and say, “they handle that.” ESG shows up in who we hire and whether we are truly building diverse, inclusive teams. It shows up in how we use resources, and how accountable we are for waste. It shows up in the standards we hold ourselves to, especially when no one is watching. Today, I had the privilege of touring the @KiiraMotors Corporation vehicle plant in Jinja, guided by its founding CEO @PIMusasizi. Together with my team, we witnessed firsthand how Uganda is taking a leading role in advancing electric mobility and digital innovation across Africa.
