Ignore the noise, let them quote a law in East Africa or Africa that allows non-pharmacist to be overall supervisors of drug manufacturing! Time for politics ended in January, Ugandans deserve a streamlined Pharma industry and it won’t be stopped by a small group that can’t read and interpret a simple clause in the act! Clause 31 doesn’t exclude other qualified scientists from drug manufacturing but dictates that the overall supervisor is a pharmacist, an international standard as described in the American and European pharmacopoeias! The 1993 NDP/A also stipulates that overall drug manufacturing MUST be supervised by a pharmacist, so what is new?
We are not making village ordinances, please!
