@nitka044 @MasynZyn His talent for play by play is far beyond “solid.” I’ve never heard someone say they don’t like the sound of his voice, why? I don’t hate on Kerber, he’s just not nearly as good. Bland? Far from it. Do you like the Bruins guy, Jack Edwards? He’s far from bland.

@BryanSTL @MasynZyn You all can hate on Kerber, but I will never understand why John Kelly is so beloved. Is it because the respect for his father, because he was a legend. Though, John has solid talent calling the game itself, awful announcing voice to listen too for 3 periods. Very bland.

He’s been let go/traded/left unprotected in an expansion draft TEN times. He’s not the identity of any team. Good player though

He’s a fine player with a solid career but the small % of the Blues fanbase obsessed with the guy is strange. He simply isn’t that good. Negative career +/- too.

@BluesReactor 100%. He’s 1 of like 4 guys we’ve had in the last 25 years who’s been a consistent 30+ goal guy. Yet we seem to act like he’s trash. He can be frustrating but with the right line mates, he’s extremely dangerous. Being paired with 3rd liners isn’t helping.
