@Cobylefko The way Minneapolis handles its lakefront public space is great. Interlinked Parks, trails, commuting paths, etc. One of my favorite aspects of living here, and an attribute of the city that has been actively cultivated.

I’ve been really impressed with the activation of waterfronts in Canadian cities. In the US, we might have a little path, and only in the best cases there’s a park that’s unloved, but here in Kelowna there’s a full embrace of the lakefront. It’s terrific!

Designed by Fogarty Finger Architects, and developed by Shuster, this new 27 unit apartment building in Queens is a lovely example of infill housing done right. If we built like this across our lower rise, semi-urban areas, we would likely solve our housing crisis swiftly and create more genial communities while building in the most sustainable way possible!

@khzny @RohunJauhar I appreciate this sentiment. I think I undervalued the importance of building industry comradery early on in my career, and thought I could just outwork the need for it. Don’t get me wrong, I had plenty of fun, but always felt guilty about it when I should have embraced it more.

@RohunJauhar I don’t love this fact, but I have likely rapidly advanced in my career due to drinking. Some incredible relationships were built over many fun nights leading to some big opportunities.

@moseskagan Not divorced, but busy dad. I do this almost every day and it’s one of the most enjoyable times that my daughters and I have! We sing, talk about the day to come, and lots of hugs!

A bit of advice for my fellow divorced dads: If at all possible, arrange your affairs such that you can take your kids to school every day. Have done this for like eight years & it’s made a world of difference.

Our entire team just finished an intense two day session, facilitated by a business coach, to revisit our core values, vision, and purpose, along with team/individual goals. It was raw, emotional, and likely the highest value thing we will do all year. Our team is the best.

Most people shouldn’t be entrepreneurs. The best way to live a happy life and enjoy retirement is to work a W2 job and invest on the side.
