The BSA International Committee is pleased to announce the appointment of Brad Valdyke, from the Central Florida Council, as our Head of Contingent to the 25th World Scout Jamboree. Valdyke is a jamboree veteran and has participated in several Jamborees in a variety of ways.

Those of you who knew Kent know how much he loved Scouting and all of you that he shared his Scouting adventures with. His loss will be felt across the Scouting community.

It is with great sadness that we share after a 7 year battle with cancer, Kent Clayburn – International Commissioner & Committee Chair passed away on July 20th.

In Scouting, Andy has served as an outstanding volunteer on the local, regional, national, and world levels. In late August, over 170 countries will cast their votes for election at the World Scout Conference & World Scout Youth Forum.
