Very thankful to @ShannonJean and the Reseller Mastermind group. Without this community, I probably never would have taken the leap into pallets. The FIFA shirt opportunity was timed perfectly, and hard work paid off. My focus was on moving inventory quickly, learning the process, building confidence, and keeping the cash flowing. Pallet #2 is already on my mind, and I’m leaning toward shoes. Last year I sold around 300 pairs by sourcing from Whatnot and reselling on eBay and FB Marketplace. New resellers- before you bid on your next pallet, read this — it could save you hundreds. - Here are some lessons from my experience that new resellers can use. From a small appliance lot on @bstock @bstocksol: - Mini fridges — high margin, fast movers. Retail $100, buy around $25 if you win at 25%, resell at $75. - Brio bottom-load water cooler — decent product, but cooling issues happen. Medium margin. - Iceman water cooler/ice maker combo — avoid. Most units are defective. - GE ice maker — only worth it if new in box. Retail $600, but even at 25% (~$150), defects = total loss. 3 of my 4 were bad. - Before bidding: review the manifest, check what actually sells in your market, inspect pallet photos, set your margin, and stick to your max bid.
