Here's proof that choosing the "this is the end of the world" token works. One of the best customer service lessons I've learned from @ShannonJean is the Two Tokens Rule: Every customer problem has two tokens: "It's no big deal." or "This is the end of the world." Whichever one you pick, the customer usually picks the opposite. A customer received the wrong snack box. She was understandably frustrated (screenshots below). Instead of getting defensive, I apologized immediately, owned the mistake, offered a refund, checked my inventory, found the mix-up, and— overnight, I made it right with a replacement box packed with even more goodies. Her frustration turned into gratitude... and she even told me she had already bought another box and wanted to keep bidding in my TikTok lives. Customer service isn't about being right. It's about making things right.

Last week, I had a tough decision to make. As some of y’all know, I’ve recently started finding success with TikTok LIVE auctions. What most people don’t tell you is that when you’re first starting out, it can take around 31 days to receive your payouts. That’s a long time to have your cash tied up, especially when each pallet can already take one to two weeks to arrive after you win it. I didn’t want to lose the momentum I was building, so last week I said goodbye to my car of six years. I bought Cyder right before leaving for college, and we went through a lot together. Selling it was bittersweet, but I believed I was seeing real potential in TikTok LIVE, and I knew I had to give this opportunity everything I had. With the money from the car, I was able to purchase my biggest rug pallet yet, roughly $15,000 in retail value. Tonight, we find out whether the decision pays off. I’m going LIVE at 5 PM. Come watch and find out wherever my risky gamble will pay off. 🥴

Yesterday I asked if y’all knew how to get free USPS ground shipping supplies… and a lot of people didn’t 👀 Here’s the step-by-step: 1. Open your Poshmark app (If you don’t have one, here’s a link to join + $10 off your first purchase — yes I hate affiliate links too 😂) posh.mk/DAaUoGuaQ4b 2. Tap the Me tab on the bottom right 3. Tap Seller Tools 4. Scroll all the way to the bottom and hit Request Shipping Supplies 5. Select the sizes & quantities you need, then hit Next and done ✅ Once your order is delivered you can request more. You can’t order again until the entire shipment has been received. These are real USPS-branded supplies with zero Poshmark logos. Everything pictured below can be ordered 📦 This is not a hack to get FREE shipping supplies. These are intended for Poshmark sellers. Poshmark is a great place to sell. I’ve moved a ton of inventory there over the years. Highly recommend giving it a shot and while you’re there grab your free shipping supply’s.
