Well friends…we did it. File this under “ask and ye shall receive” because I officially hit 2,000 followers. 🎉🤯🥹 But to be totally honest, the number itself isn’t the biggest milestone. The milestone is what those 2,000 people represent that makes this so humbling and meaningful to me. It’s the followers with zero interest in luxury handbags who tell me they never miss my posts because they find the industry fascinating. It’s the followers who say my tone “feels genuine” and that the information I share is refreshingly transparent. 🥹 It’s 2,000+ people who now know to ask for the Hermès coloring sheets when they walk into a boutique with their kids. (Search my posts if you missed that one!) It’s the Save Your Money Monday series that has helped people avoid expensive mistakes by highlighting which luxury bags simply aren’t worth the hype and the money. It’s the steady stream of DMs asking me to help choose the perfect bag to celebrate a graduation, promotion, anniversary, retirement, or another once-in-a-lifetime milestone. 2,000 followers isn’t about a vanity metric. And let’s be honest…in the grand scheme of X, 2K followers is a tiny drop in the bucket!😮‍💨 To me, it’s proof that I’ve built a community of people I genuinely admire and respect. People who trust me to make the luxury industry more transparent, approachable, and a little less intimidating. I spent my 20s and early 30s working in corporate for these very luxury brands—bound by intimidating NDAs and expected to protect the industry’s carefully curated image. It’s surreal to now have a platform where I can openly pull back the curtain on the smoke and mirrors. 🤩 The funniest part? I created this X account in December 2024 and didn’t post a single thing until March 2026 because I didn’t think X mattered for someone like me. Boy, was I wrong. 😌 Thank you for every follow, every comment, every DM, and every conversation. Thank you for trusting me. Thank you for being here. 💞 Now…let’s expose some more luxury trickery, shall we? 😎

Garden experts of X: what did I do wrong? My tomatoes, bell peppers, and banana peppers are all full grown…and all refusing to change color. They’re the right size. They’re healthy. They’re just…this same shade of green. Is this normal, or did I ruin another summer garden season? 🫣 (And yes, that’s a gnome unicorn, but let’s not digress from the topic at hand 🤪)

Reminder to all my fellow resellers: These USPS, UPS, and FedEx drivers put up with a ton of bullshit every day just to get our packages delivered on time and in one piece. Show them some love! Every time a driver pulls up to my house, I hook them up with cold water, soda, Gatorade, chips, beef jerky. Whatever I’ve got on hand. They’re out there grinding in scorching heat, pouring rain, whatever Mother Nature throws at them. Not to mention dogs. A small gesture goes a long way. Respect their grind! 💪📦

Unpopular opinion: Half these resellers complaining about slow sales won’t wake up at 5 to source, figure out how to pivot, or take the time to see what’s wrong to make the necessary changes. I’ve been at this since ’07. The hustle rewards the ruthless, not the whiners. Change my mind. 😤

Friends, I do luxury reselling full time and I have 1 daughter who is in elementary school and enrolled in 29374 activities that keep her basically occupied 24/7. 🤪 @ShamsETubriz, on the other hand? He does reselling on top of a full time job while ALSO being a dad to very young kids 🤯!! I *genuinely* don’t know how he manages to do it all, but his work ethic is something else. If you’re not following him yet, you should be. He deserves every bit of support this community can give. 👏

The HUGE RUG SALE is over I was $93 short of my goal. I am sunburned, I am tired. But........ I met so many great people that said they follow me on Facebook. I think I'm almost famous! Paparazzi will be showing up next

I finally had a day off yesterday and dedicated it to listing shoes online. Dropped off 12 pairs at USPS this morning. Then a gentleman came by for a pair of Hokas. His wife was in the car 😉 They ended up taking the Hokas and two pairs of New Balance. $450 in sales in the last 24 hours! 👍🏽 Today I’ll continue posting shoes and clearing out the garage because I’m expecting a bunch of inflatable water slides to arrive any day now

@nahuelhilal That’s amazing! He will do great things. My son is a musician and I doubted him. A few months later he was playing a stadium event with over 10k people then traveling all over the US as a high schooler. Don’t underestimate him is good advice.

SO, the unemployed guy who lives in my house suddenly is not unemployed anymore. He got hired to play in a band. The thing he dreamed about and worked for his whole short life, and he's barely started living it. Then I found him looting my closet, as usual, but this time he was trying on my leather jacket. Then the yellow flags showed up. The show turned into a multidisciplinary thing with magicians and theatrics. Fine, sounds fun. Then they asked him to bring outfits for photos, so I finally looked at their social media, and the show leans burlesque. Almost inapropriate for a 15 year old. I kept telling myself it's just rock and roll. We watched worse in videos in the 80's and 90's and we turned out mostly okay. But we didn't grow up with a digital footprint that follows you into every job interview for the rest of your life. Today would have been my dad's birthday. He used to be the guy I called for this exact thing. The last text he ever sent me landed on this same subject. "Don't underestimate him." So we met with the producers. We met with the band. Then the three of us sat down, mum, dad, and the unemployed, and talked for a very long time. We decided to let him pursue it, under supervision. All I ask now: follow the band. Today truly blessed my soul. I attended the Reseller Mastermind meetup in Dallas. I felt a little awkward at first since I hadn’t officially met anyone, but that feeling disappeared quickly. It was a privilege to learn from some of the best and connect with such an incredible group of people. Special thanks to @ShannonJean and @bstocksol for hosting this amazing event. Last week, I had a tough decision to make. As some of y’all know, I’ve recently started finding success with TikTok LIVE auctions. What most people don’t tell you is that when you’re first starting out, it can take around 31 days to receive your payouts. That’s a long time to have your cash tied up, especially when each pallet can already take one to two weeks to arrive after you win it. I didn’t want to lose the momentum I was building, so last week I said goodbye to my car of six years. I bought Cyder right before leaving for college, and we went through a lot together. Selling it was bittersweet, but I believed I was seeing real potential in TikTok LIVE, and I knew I had to give this opportunity everything I had. With the money from the car, I was able to purchase my biggest rug pallet yet, roughly $15,000 in retail value. Tonight, we find out whether the decision pays off. I’m going LIVE at 5 PM.
