@ShannonJean Lucky’ is just what people say when they weren’t watching. Those who watch closely and wish you success — they see it for what it is. Not that you’re just lucky but your hard work, dedication and determination. Great breakdown Shannon.

You’re so lucky! I have heard that phrase thousands of times during the past two decades. I like the word fortunate better than luck, but let’s stick with luck for this post. The good news is that being lucky is a teachable skill. And I can teach you how to create your own luck. This is a long post – so bookmark it to refer back to. I won’t keep you waiting for multiple posts…this time. 😅 Here’s how to attract luck into your life with examples from a lucky guy: Be Curious: Ask lots of questions about how stuff works. If you wonder about how a business or someone’s career works – ask them. People love to talk about themselves and what they do. I once asked a guy how his software company worked, and after an hour’s conversation, we became partners. This led to me having a number one book on Amazon. You never know where the luck is hiding. Help Others: Learn the Law of Reciprocity. When I was in college, I couldn’t get a tech job, so I volunteered to help a business owner. He taught me a ton and set me on the path to owning 10 companies over 25 years. Be Social: On X, you should send DMs to people who create content you like. Tell them you like their content and start a conversation. Do the same in real life. Building your network will exponentially increase your chances of being “lucky.” I once met a guy at a funeral, of all places. We talked for an hour and later started a business together that generated millions of dollars in revenue. Say Yes More: Experiment and try new things—work on being comfortable with embarrassing yourself. Everyone sucks at the beginning! I got asked to take over a business handling high-end watches. I knew nothing about the watch business. I said yes, and that led to over $ 18M in watch sales. Ask For Help: When you don’t know what to do, how to do it, or where to get something, find the person who can help and ask them. Most people love to help others succeed, especially successful people! When I wanted to start a business to pay for my kids’ education, I contacted @davehamilton to see if he thought a website for daily tech deals would be worth starting. I had no idea how to start a business like this, but I knew how to find someone who did. DealsOnTheWeb ran for over a decade, kicking out cash that made my kids smart AND lucky. Create your own Curriculum: Read books, take classes, buy courses, hire coaches, and watch videos about new topics. I doubt one thing will make you super successful or lucky – the combination of constantly learning does it. A million years ago, I took a course on HTML programming. I was tired of the mystery of how to build a website and sell products online. That simple course set me on track to understand how to incorporate technology into each of my businesses. It helped me learn programming, but I also learned about marketing, customer service, communication, and much more. That course was full of luck. Being "Lucky” is fantastic – I love it. I consider myself a magnet for luck, and I just gave you the playbook I have used to attract it. To recap – you will find yourself surrounded by luck if you: Be Curious Help Others Be Social Say Yes More Ask For Help Create your own Curriculum Follow me @ShannonJean, and I guarantee you’ll instantly start attracting more luck!

Aviva-Luxury Reseller 👛 💎
When you look at this picture, you probably see a lineup of beautiful bags. As a luxury reseller, I do too…but I wouldn’t buy 80% of them to resell. 🙄 That’s the difference between a consumer and a reseller. I get tons of DMs asking, “do you think this will sell?”, and 75% of the time, the honest answer is: probably not for the price you want it to sell for. What looks like a “great deal” to a buyer can, and often is, a terrible investment for a reseller. As a luxury reseller, you have to take off the consumer hat. It’s not just about price or aesthetics. It’s about market demand, saturation, usability, reputation, and all the little details most people don’t think about. Calculate in the selling platform fees and well, you’ll see that the math just isn’t math-ing. 😏 So yes, these bags are pretty. But pretty doesn’t always pay. If you’re serious about getting into luxury reselling, feel free to DM me! Want to buy one of my bags? Click my Linktree in bio to check out my selection. 👛 Follow along @avivafashion11 for more tips and tricks to building your own 6 figure luxury reselling business, one carefully calculated sourcing decision at a time.

Happy Cinco de Mayo! 🌮🎉 Let’s take a moment to appreciate that this year Cinco de Mayo falls on a TUESDAY. The prophecy has been fulfilled. Taco Tuesday and Cinco de Mayo on the same day. 🌮🌮🌮 This has never happened and honestly it may never happen again in our lifetime. Put down the phone. Close the laptop. Step away from the eBay listings. Today we eat tacos. Everything else can wait. 😂 Salud! 🥂

The best part about reselling is that it's not a one-size-fits-all approach. No matter how you're sourcing or where you're selling, there's opportunity out there for everyone. 🥳 If you're looking to get started, these are the folks to watch. You won't regret it.
Larry Welnowski Jr.@plasticboss

The greatest part about reselling are the number of options you have to sell. We have chosen to build a website, advertise locally, push traffic to the site, have people pay for products online and then pick up the items during our pick up hours. We are intentionally deciding to sell local because of the growing need for discounted consumer goods due to one of the fastest growing cities in the United States. We recognize the market. Today, we had our largest one time purchase on the site. $497. Receipt pictured below. We chose this route and FB Marketplace, but there are so many routes. My friends, @donnyyoung @jearl02s @JakeKern @wxguymike primarily sell of FB Marketplace. Live selling? Yeah @Whatnot and @tiktok_us live selling are amazing. @kip_roland @hey_mindi and @BraydenFlack are killing it with this method! Storefront and event sales? @joepoole @resellerrowe @JDPCollective are taking you on their journeys and showing you how to build Selling luxury items on eBay? Follow @avivafashion11 who is sharing every secret she learned. Bin stores? Yeah amazing. Follow @MikePrendamano who founded Bin Store Brands. Reselling is a path to freedom, and these folks are proving it every day. The best thing you can do is follow them and start reading. Other things you should do if you want to get started. Join @ShannonJean's mastermind 👉shannonjean.com/mastermind This will be the best $5 you spent. Over 3000 people helping each other navigate the world of reselling. Finally? I partnered with B Stock(@bstocksol ) to help you get started. By registering with your email on this link you will gather all the tools you need to set up your account to join the best auction platform that sells overstock and returns for major retailers. This link will also provide you guidance on how to obtain your resale certificate. Click here 👉 bstock.com/plasticboss Questions? I'm here to help. I believe in Karma. Send me a DM or ask in the comments. I sharing because I don't believe in gatekeeping. I believe everyone should have the tools and the opportunity to control their time on this earth. Reselling provides that freedom. #reseller

Simple trick that gets you 5 star reviews on eBay/Facebook every time. After every sale, once the item is delivered, send the buyer a short message: "Hey 👋 Just circling back to thank you for your purchase. If you think I've earned it, I'd appreciate a 5 star review. It helps with the algorithm." That's it. No gimmicks. No incentives. Just honest and human. Buyer responded in 6 minutes: "Hey man absolutely, thanks!" Reviews build trust. Trust builds sales. Sales build the business.

May the 4th be with you… and with your bids. May your max bids be strong, your walk-aways disciplined, and your pallets arrive on time. This is the way. (wrong franchise but felt right 😂)

First pallet of pressure washers arrives this week. So this weekend I did what any logical person would do — completely tore apart my garage to make room. This is the part nobody shows you. Before the flips, before the profit, before the wins… there’s the prep work. Garage is ready. Bring it on.

Happy Saturday everyone. 10 Panini Mosaic boxes. $37.50 each. Free shipping. Costco liquidation. Would you flip these individually or rip ’em all? It continues to surprise me the sentiment around these, on auction they sell at absurd prices from a logical point.
