At first, it was hard to walk into the garage and go live when I could've been wrestling with my kids, cuddling on the couch, watching a movie, or reading them a book. But somewhere along the way, it stopped being just about selling. Now there are people waiting for the show to start, volunteering to moderate the chat and shut down the trolls. That kind of support means more than they probably realize. These days, I somewhat look forward to going live.

Yesterday I had three choices: • Watch Argentina 🇦🇷 in the World Cup. • Watch Conor McGregor return after five years to fight Max Holloway. • Or walk into my garage, hit "Go Live," and keep building my business. I chose the garage. Yesterday was my fifth TikTok Live. I streamed for a little over three hours before my phone died because I forgot to plug it in. The show was just getting started. I sold 32 items and did just over $1,100 in sales. What meant the most wasn't the numbers. It was seeing returning buyers volunteer to moderate the chat and watching everyone jokingly outbid and tease each other. It felt more like a community than a sales show. As a dad of three and a lead engineer trying to build a business outside my 9-to-5, consistency isn't always easy. But yesterday reminded me of something Every time I choose to invest in my future instead of the easier option, I'm getting one step closer to the life I want for my family. I'm still a complete beginner with a long way to go, but this felt like a big win. I frequent Costco to shop, but my greater reason is to preview what will be listed on @bstocksol when they decide to clear out seasonal items. Yesterday, a TON of furniture was pushed toward the front of the store where the summer items used to be. I'm drooling over the camp chairs and the family wagons! These will be gold when they hit the site. These are non mechanical, usually in great shape and always sell easy on FB Marketplace. Reselling is the easiest way to start a side gig.
