@Nigel_Farage From a veteran who actually cares about the people in this country....please Foxtrot Oscar. You are a disaster waiting to happen and imo, after the lie that was Brexit, you should be locked up to prevent further harm to the British people and the British way of life

@jhorsewhisperer I went for a BYD, 6 year warranty, paid cash for an ex demo with 1300 miles on it and paid a fraction of what the 'legacy' car manufacturers are asking for an equivalent model. A couple of months in and I'm very happy with my purchase

Chinese cars are going to take over. The girlfriend wanted a new car. Range Rover Evoque 4 years PCP deal Total cost: £30,480 @ 3.9% APR Jaecoo 7 Total cost: £17,520 @ 0% APR Financing the Jaecoo 7 is a no-brainer at 0%. It might not be a "Range Rover" but neither is the Evoque in my opinion it's crap. A real Range Rover is the full-sized Range Rover or the Sport. Who is going to justify paying almost double for nearly the same car? Jaecoo 7 tech is better and most people who drive these cars don't give a crap about handling etc. An Evoque is hardly a driver's car anyway. I think we'll see some big changes over the next few years in the car market. People are becoming less brand snobs. As long as it looks good, has a warranty, and is affordable, most are happy.

@sharrond62 What you saw in the Eastern Bloc was communism the very extreme form of socialism and not comparable

Left wing governments (UK, France, Aus, Can, EU) are systematically removing freedoms & rights in the name of socialism. As someone who saw ‘socialism’ first hand as I travelled the eastern block competing in the 70s & 80s I will continue to point out it’s a race to the bottom.

STATEMENT: Free speech survives in Australia… for now. The government has binned the provisions of its proposed legislation that would have criminalised hate speech – laws that ultimately would have been used to restrict truths being told and legitimate criticisms being expressed because someone takes offence. All those Australians who have stood against this censorious bill are to be commended. Common sense Australians saw through Anthony Albanese’s agenda. Leveraging off the Bondi tragedy – and using the justification of combatting antisemitism – the politically expedient Anthony Albanese sought to pass laws curtailing free speech that have been on his mind for a long time. For domestic political reasons, Anthony Albanese wants to ringfence Islam from any reasonable scrutiny. And he wants to shut down debate on key policy issues like mass immigration. None of this comes as any surprise. Since coming to power, we’ve seen the Albanese government’s socialist inclinations play out. It’s a government that mistakes control for governing well. A government that favours a state-directed economy over a free-market economy. And a government that prefers having power over citizens – who are dependent on the state – to empowering citizens. The desire to curtail and control speech is exactly what we have come to expect from this Prime Minister – a man who doesn’t believe that the government should serve the will of the people, but instead wants the people to serve the will of the government. In terms of combatting antisemitism – or any form of hate for that matter – the problem isn’t that existing laws are insufficient. Rather, the problem is that existing laws haven’t been enforced. And that’s due to a lack of moral clarity and political leadership from the Albanese government ever since the sordid scenes on the steps of the Sydney Opera House. Consider all the antisemitic incidents that have plagued our nation since then. It’s scandalous that, despite so many crimes, there have been so few arrests and so few visas cancelled. Anthony Albanese has failed to act. He has failed to come down hard on perpetrators. He has failed to deter would-be perpetrators. He has failed to lead. And now, this arrogant Prime Minister seeks to lay blame for his failures on the opposition. If Anthony Albanese is serious about combatting the root causes of antisemitism – which include radical Islamism – he would ensure that existing laws are readily enforced. And that’s exactly what his government must do to deter further acts of antisemitism and terrorism.

@LeeAndersonMP_ Fuck off, 3-Parties. You traitors are supporting Trump in trying to get $10 billion out of the British people, & his attempt to close down one of our most cherished institutions. The BBC belongs to us - and you & your treacherous cronies want to see a foreign power destroy it.

@RupertLowe10 The BBC and the license fee, love or hate it, is what keeps the price of streaming services in check. You also need to look at the reasons behind the people calling for the BBC to fail, most if not all are the BBCs competitors. Rupert surely knows this...

Good news. The BBC stands a good chance of going bust now Trump has issued a $10billion lawsuit ( £7.4bn) through a Florida court for editing his speech to make it look like he encouraged the Capitol Hill riots. His claim for defamation is twice the BBC’s annual income and I doubt there’s a single viewer who would be prepared to stump up for their money to cross the pond. The scandal has already cost Tim Davie and the Head of News their jobs and it would be sad if 22,000 others employees would follow them. The old mantra Go Woke, Go Broke does seem to come into play here.

BREAKING: Trump CONFIRMS he will be filing a lawsuit against the BBC "probably this afternoon/tomorrow morning". I want Trump to financially destroy the BBC so comprehensively that it can't survive in its current form. Absolutely wonderful news. Trump is NOT backing down! 🔥

When I voted Brexit 9 years ago. It was because I wanted to take back control of our borders. The fact that our borders are even more wide open than before, is not because of Brexit. It’s because the people in charge didn’t honour or implement what the majority of us wanted.
