Bielema also thinks he may have took Wisconsin's and West Virginia's top players: including WVU WR Hudson Clement He says some players may transfer out in the Spring, but confident the top "25-30" guys will be in Champaign this Fall. Illinois is coming off a strong 10 win season.

Below are Illinois transfers over the last 5 years This shows transfers 3P% before Illinois and while at Illinois. Only 3 players shot better at Illinois Lots of things go into 3P% (including just normal variance) but on average players have shot 4.2% worse at Illinois

@jb9fingers @joejacksonCBB I’m not saying you can’t make threes at a decent clip in the building. But his original point that our transfers almost all drop a few 3P% points is most likely related to this, also a lot of transfers moving to bigger & tougher conference in general doesn’t help.
