@BucksAva @midwest_it_girl No they aren’t though. As a woman I was never made to feel that way. I have seen many boys buy those same books. Maybe you are projecting your own insecurities. But no one tells women this. English majors are notoriously mainly women

@Val115428110561 @midwest_it_girl yeah no shit people are able to read and buy other stuff but women are made to BELIEVE they can only read romance. its shown to be an intellectual issue, only men can understand smart books about history and other hard topics while women can’t and have to stick to easy romance.

@BucksAva @midwest_it_girl It isn’t misogyny though?? It is what sells. Many women read romance books and there are stats to back it up. No one forces you to only buy that. I have seen similar tables with classics and western canons. You can buy them.
