@BudManStream @WSOP The average weighted rake for the 100 events at WSOP in 2025 was 9.3%. I would not call that excessive. (total buyins/total rake)

Last week, we announced the Dealer Rating System coming to WSOP Live.
Here’s the breakdown: we’re adding $100,000 in rewards for top rated dealers this summer.
For each bracelet event, the top rated dealers will earn:
1st: $500
2nd: $300
3rd: $200
That’s $1,000 per bracelet event across 100 bracelet events.
We heard the concern:
“What if one tilted player gives a bad rating after a bad beat?”
Ratings refresh for every event. Each bracelet event is a clean slate, and no unfair rating follows a dealer for the whole summer.
For dealers, this program is only upside: a fresh chance every event to be recognized and rewarded.
The goal is simple: reward the dealers who help make WSOP great.

@StayWerkin I know she's jus a kid & we should let kids be kids but that's not this. That girl is completely damaged.
How TF does Kim (arguably gorgeous) let her own daughter turn into whatever mess this is?
If ur not gonna let ur kid be a kid, at least guide them into being something good.

@BobMatherPoker ...said that to them. But I told them that not only did 1 of the cards slightly flash from my angle but if someone is using tech, they're making it super easy for them. The dealer said "if someone is using tech it doesnt matter how I pitch". So ridiculous lol
English

@BobMatherPoker Jus yesterday at a circuit event in NC I got into a heated discussion with a WSOP dealer whos been on the scene for a long time.
They were pitching super high. I asked politely if they could keep the pitch down & they got super upset. I have so much respect for dealers & even...

Think solving camera problems in poker is tough? you probably do not understand the scope of the problem (Bone cinduction is mind blowing) .. Tournament personnel will soon need CIA level sniffers to detect cheating...
Post this prompt into ChatGpt or your favorite AI program:
"Research the current and near-future state of wearable and concealable technology—including smart glasses/AR, rings, watches, earpieces, bone-conduction audio, smart clothing/fabrics with embedded sensors, tech-enabled hats/caps with cameras or displays, skin patches, and AI-powered devices—and analyze how they could realistically impact live poker tournaments. Cover potential advantages for players (real-time odds, opponent analysis, hidden communication, etc.) as well as necessary countermeasures like updated tournament policies, detection methods, Faraday solutions, and casino enforcement"

@SaraSmartist Targeting these players posts that are meant to be fun is jus silly.
Criticizing them for the specific wording will make them not wana post anymore.
Last WSOP I played awful in tourneys & was down $9k. Played well in cash so I saved it. But point is Im not on Joshs level
English

I don't get why we glorify this, tbh.
Either your bankroll can handle that big of a loss (which makes that person a lucky SOB, seriously)
Or... you are smart enough to manage your bankroll and not do this?
Maybe I'm just too lowly of an innocent rec to see why we glorify this 🤷♀️

@MOriverangler @RedHarrington44 Bro u got it completely backwards lol
Literally no one is saying they suffered. But the PGA fanboys are acting like LIV is the literal devil these guys sold their souls to lol
Y'all lost the plot, golf is a job to these guys. U cant tell me u wouldnt get paid more if u could?
English

@RedHarrington44 You LIV fanbois apparently live in a world where you think these guys suffered on the PGAT. Just low IQ mentality.
English

My answer would have been “a lot of the ppl in this room use to act very friendly to me when I was doing what they wanted me to do. The second I made a decision for myself that changed pretty quickly.”
Golf Channel@GolfChannel
Reporter: "What did you learn from the decision to go to LIV?" Jon Rahm: "That's for me to know ... and that's about that."
English

@flushingitgolf Wait, lol, so he knew about it back in April but was also telling the PGA to do a deal with them after that?
The guy wants to be Tiger so badly but is a complete clown
English

Rory McIlroy was asked by Bob Harig whether he was surprised that the PIF pulled the funding to LIV Golf. His immediate reaction was to joke that he “loves talking about this,” but then when the question developed he gave a thoughtful answer and said he is “glad” he was wrong to suggest the PGA Tour do a deal with the PIF and also said he knew about it in March/April, before players on LIV did. He then spoke about what LIV could look like in the future.
This is worth a watch.

@alphafox Yeah except these guys know how this machine works.
U buy a temp visa card from Walmart, put $5 on it and run it thru the machine to open it. Then take everything. The machine is gonna charge the card but there's no $ on it plus it doesnt have ur info tied to it.
English

@Sir_Dammed @danielpmalito @geoffkeighley This is something I been saying for awhile & no one talks about it.
The GameAwards are a complete joke cause gamers don't even get to vote.
Yet the GA is looked at like shining throne & people riot over things like the final spot lol.
The GA is not good & needs to be changed
English

Personally I think the even more pressing problem is the fact that they're even still allowed to be apart of the industry, keep getting free shit, early review codes, etc.
Not to mention, @geoffkeighley is still giving them 90% of the vote at The Game Awards.
These people are not fucking gamers. They're narcissistic posers LARPing who only seek to exploit and use the industry for their personal benefit. We already have a valid alternative to these journos: independent game reviews and content creators who are deemed "credible" by the general public.
Wtf are we doing with these journos still being invited? It needed to change years ago.
English

To outsiders who don't pay much attention to the sheer fucking absurdity that is 2026 games journalism™, it might seem like people are overreacting to the Mixtape situation. Listen, I COMPLETELY understand if you feel that way.
But no, listen carefully. We've been saying for YEARS that game journalists are posers who despise this hobby. Mixtape is absolute proof of that.
This is a billionaire nepo project that is 3 hours long and that you don't even really "play." It was immediately astroturfed to fuck and back, called "one of the games of the generation," couldn't even bother to add a fail state or something known as "gameplay systems," includes the most quirk-ass possible millennial-hipster writing and teenagers tonguing, all presented alongside the lie that it's an "indie project."
There has never been a more direct example of everything wrong with games journalism, and that's saying a lot because they gave Veilguard a 9 out of 10 while games like Black Myth Wukong and Crimson Desert are 6's & 7's. "Mixtape" is being hailed as a masterpiece and given 10's across the board while its billionaire publisher lines their pockets with cute lootboxes filled with custom gadgets and CD players.
There is one reason, and one reason alone that they like it... and that's because it didn't "waste their time" by making them do something they loathe: playing a video game.

@Genki_JPN Remember when all the Ponys were like "dur u guys dont know nothing & no way u can know how much Marathon cost."

@PokerStarsBlog How do you stop audiences from deserting mid-stream?
Have the commentators quit talking over the players
Also maybe have them not ban people in the live chat for pointing it out. Even people who were being respectful & asking nicely were being banned.
It's unwatchable

@MarsBars90504 @maddenifico U dont think shes $ irresponsible by buying an expensive newer car & that $200+ cooler?
When I didnt have $ I drove a 15 yr old beater. I also didnt eat fast food, whats the cooler for?
And I surely didnt have a job that left me leave the premises for a break after only a few hrs
English

@maddenifico Its almost time.
People are finally tired. Hungry. Angry and about to collapse.
That is where the revolution starts.
It shoulda with 37 felonies.
All the hush money. Rapes.
The e files.
But nope.
We wait til people are on or past the brink.
English

@maddenifico What does she do for work that has her looking so badly in 4hrs?
I honestly dont get it.
Also, how does she have a break where she gets to leave work?
That car & cooler look a hell of a lot nicer than anything I have. Maybe manage ur $ better genius & dont buy $200 coolers
English

@GOP_is_Gutless The funniest part is even the refs know she sucks. They see her travel CONSTANTLY but don't bother calling it cause they know she's gonna miss and/or turn the ball over right away so to save time they jus let it play out every time LMFAO

@NUCLRGOLF @FOS @_DavidRumsey @BrysonLegion The PGA fanboys will still find a way to say Bryson & LIV didn't influence these changes.
I'm sure it'll be something like "durka durka the PGA put out a change list 5 yrs ago that showed in 2026 they were going to make these changes. I saw the list myself" lol
English

🚨📺✅ JUST IN — Only days after Bryson DeChambeau expressed continued concern, the PGA Tour is overhauling and relaxing guidelines surrounding player content creation, social media and YouTube (via @FOS / @_DavidRumsey).
The changes, coming later this month, were shared at a PAC meeting this week
Changes include:
— Ability to post broadcast footage of 6 shots per round, up from a single shot previously
— Ability to post 120 minutes of player highlights on YouTube (up from 60 mins), 72 hours after an event concludes
— Players can now receive ad revenue for any content captured during practice rounds and pro-ams
— Players no longer need to transfer ownership of their YouTube channel to the PGA Tour in order to use archive footage
— Players still not allowed to commercialize the content they create on-site at an event or the broadcast highlights they post from tournaments
“The PGA Tour strives to provide the most athlete-friendly social media guidelines in professional sports”, a Tour spokesperson told @FOS.
Will Bryson return? @BrysonLegion
