First, fuck off.
Ok, now we’re locked in, I sincerely wish you all the best. The world is brutal. Uncaring, wanting its own at your expense and indifferent to your losses. Leaving no safe haven for reprieve and rejuvenation. Yet the want to interdigitate and be fiercely loyal to each other persists beneath the wreckage. It’s how we are built and what we are built for. Society has strip-mined our togetherness by chopping up our bonds with endless insult.
We do best with shared purpose and a common enemy. We are the stewards of intelligent life. Our moral duty is to tend its continuation. Not as martyrs, but as stalwarts. Our enemy is that which makes you smaller.
Count me as your ally.

@bryan_johnson Happy for you homie. Good on you for not taking it for granted, especially in today’s culture surrounding dating and relationships

I got there. I was ready to do the rectal measurements for body temp. Then we found a pill solution. It's about the size of a jelly bean and passes through my GI track in around 24 hours. Measures core body temp every minute. Doing it next week. Excited for the data!
Bryan Johnson@bryan_johnson
I've been measuring my core body temperature post sauna with an inner ear device. But it's not accurate enough. That's a problem. The gold standard is rectal. I'm unsure if I can do this. My doctors are now accusing me of not being committed.

@CXCarroll @bryan_johnson Cool. All of your dogs are great. Wonderful anecdotes. Let’s follow the data.
English

@bryan_johnson @BuddyBlueprint They won't wreck your sleep. If anything they'll reinforce whatever pattern you introduce to them. If I'm not in bed by 9:00 my dog reminds me that it's bed time by leaning on me and softly whining. Dogs are very routine-oriented creatures.

@Dazzbourgh @bryan_johnson Yep. Pets add a lot more variables to integrate into an already intricate and optimized system that Bryan has going. I think it might throw his daily routine off with all the extra energy and chaos that dogs bring. Like anything in life, pros and cons.
English

@BuddyBlueprint @bryan_johnson I kinda feel like it depends on how tired they get during the day, with enough exercise a dogus will be happily sleeping through the night
English

@Dazzbourgh @bryan_johnson Depends on the dog. Not every dog is like your dog, obviously. Data shows that most of the time pets contribute to sleep disruption.
English

@BuddyBlueprint @bryan_johnson Why would they? My dog goes to bed perfectly on time every day and wakes up about the same time i do, patiently waits in his bed for me to get up and take him for a walk
English

@bryan_johnson You could probably train them to sleep on time with you and in their own beds in separate rooms.
But dude also air quality might take a hit from fur and anything they bring in the house from outside.
Pets are great but they add a lot of variables.
Love ya ty for the reply

@bryan_johnson Just be a man and do the rectal temperature. 😂

I'm experimenting with 5-MeO-DMT because it may be most underrated longevity molecule no one is talking about.
+ Accelerated neurogenesis: a single dose more than doubled brain cell proliferation and neuronal regeneration in the hippocampus within 12 hours, alongside measurable increases in synaptic density and firing frequency in rodent models.
+ Proteomic reorganization: in human cerebral organoids, 5-MeO-DMT triggers rapid proteomic shifts favoring cellular reorganization and synapse formation. Early evidence of structural brain renewal at the molecular level.
+ Default Mode Network reset: The DMN calcifies with age locking us into rigid, repetitive patterns of thought. 5-MeO-DMT disrupts these patterns, restoring bottom up connectivity between sensory and creative brain regions. A forced return to neurological flexibility and youthfulness.
+ Systemic anti-inflammation: suppresses pro-inflammatory cytokines (IL-1β, IL-6, TNF-alpha) while upregulating IL-10, the anti-inflammatory signal. Mediated through the Sigma-1 receptor, suggesting a mechanism distinct from other psychedelics.

@bryan_johnson Systems that take better care of you than you ever could!

@bryan_johnson At home and work is good, but what about on your way to those places? I have an air filter for my car!
English

Air filtration at home and work is an easy health win.
In my house and office, each room has an air filter and monitor. I try to maintain pristine air quality 24/7.
Air pollutants PM2.5, PM10 and poisonous gases like volatile organic compounds (VOCs), nitrogen oxides, carbon monoxide, and sulfur dioxide, directly contact the respiratory tract, lungs, and eyes, causing irritation and direct toxicity.
Smaller particles, particularly ultrafine particles and certain PM2.5 components, can cross the lung tissue (alveoli) into the bloodstream, leading to systemic and metabolic toxicity, as well as hormone and immune dysregulation. Airborne pollutants can also be ingested, irritating the digestive system.
Air pollutants increase the risk of respiratory diseases, including lung cancer, negatively affect children's development, focus, and cognitive performance, and are increasingly linked to metabolic disruption, liver disease risk, allergies in children, and elevated risks of multimorbidity and mortality.
Using an in-room HEPA filter is a good idea, even if your home uses an HVAC system with filtration. This is because many pollutants originate indoors; cooking, especially pan frying, is a major source of DNA-damaging and potentially carcinogenic toxins, such as aldehydes and PAHs.
Key strategies for preventing internal air pollution buildup are good kitchen ventilation with an effective kitchen hood and excellent overall air circulation.
Without proper ventilation, frying can temporarily make your kitchen air quality worse than the most polluted areas globally.
Additionally, if you use an HVAC system, ensure filters are replaced regularly, and the system is inspected for humidity and mold, as these can contribute to mold and moisture problems in the home. The same regular filter replacement applies to your kitchen hood and in-room air filters.
The video below demonstrates the significant difference achievable even with simple, small in-room HEPA filters. These units start at approximately $50 (with filter changes every 2–3 months costing around $20) and can dramatically improve your indoor air quality.
