@SecWar @PeteHegseth @DeptofWar Imagine posting this to a group that rarely posts anything useful. Why? Do we not have AD personnel handling public affairs? I haven’t seen posts from this group on my feed, which just makes this hilarious. Must be a GS employee… #MakeItMakeSense

1. Doesn't decrease how much taxes you pay. A common argument in many election cycles to "fund" something by saying "it won't increase taxes". So it is funded by tax payer dollars, which clearly means the tax payer bears the burden. We can change the language, but it doesn't change the facts. 2. Doesn't eliminate how much taxes they pay either. Doesn't change the fact they are here ILLEGALLY. 3. BUT getting rid of them is having an economic effect in both lost GDP and labor. Same argument was made to keep slaves. Just because one may benefit from low paid workers, doesn't make it right.

So, I'm going to preempt the two main talking points here that keep coming up, and link back to replies where I explained them, (it's better than just typing them out again). a. undocumented immigrants to pay federal taxes. x.com/dexterwebn/sta… b. Regarding states being underfunded, that only applies to recipient states. Donor states will be just fine. x.com/dexterwebn/sta… And what I would mention to everyone is that not counting them: 1. Doesn't decrease how much taxes you pay. 2. Doesn't eliminate how much taxes they pay either. 3. BUT getting rid of them is having an economic effect in both lost GDP and labor. Which is why the Republican party has pushed for protections by carving out exceptions in who they target. It's also why the administration is making deals to bring in Indian labor into the country. It's not a wait and find out kind of thing.
Dexter Nelson (aka Athalos)@dexterwebn

Yes, undocumented immigrants pay federal taxes. Undocumented immigrants in the U.S. paid approximately $96.7 billion in federal, state, and local taxes in 2022, with $59.4 billion specifically allocated to the federal government. In 2023, these payments were reported to be around $89.8 billion, including $33.9 billion in state and local taxes and $55.8 billion in federal taxes. I don't have all of 2024 (yet). Understand that "they don't pay taxes" is political propaganda from the top to make people believe they're just mooching off of the system. But understand, removing them from the census a. won't mean you pay less in taxes, and b. won't stop their contributions either. They'll still be contributing, but without any representation.. as in taxation without representation. I keep telling people that immigrants aren't our enemies. It's the elite class deliberately dividing us so we don't unite against them. taxpolicycenter.org/fiscal-facts/y… americanimmigrationcouncil.org/topic/tax-cont…

🚨BREAKING: Stephen Miller, a senior Trump Advisor, is trying to exclude illegal aliens from the U.S. census, which removes House seats from Blue states like California, New York etc. Do you support excluding illegals from the U.S. census? 1. Hell Yes 2. No

U.S.C. §1324 (ii) knowing or in reckless disregard of the fact that an alien has come to, entered, or remains in the United States in violation of law, transports, or moves or attempts to transport or move such alien within the United States by means of transportation or otherwise, in furtherance of such violation of law; Should illegal immigrants be counted in the census? Sure, but enforcement should prioritize areas with the largest unlawful-presence. If there are that many illegals in an area that not counting them becomes a major issue, that signals a major issue already. The "whole number of persons" rule comes from the 14th Amendment, which replaced the three fifths compromise to ensure freed black Americans were fully counted for representation, aligning political power with the actual resident population after slavery. Yes, representatives serve all residents, but that post-war rule was about fully counting newly freed citizens, not awarding House seats based on unlawful presence. Now if we have elected officials, or anyone, going out of their way to prevent law enforcement from enforcing immigration laws, then they should be charged. This was never a concern until now, when you have groups not enforcing our immigration laws.

No, and not for the reason people immediately think. The census isn't just for voting or demographics. The census is used to determine how much funding states get in support and aid from the federal government. If you exclude them, states will be underfunded on everything that federal funds are used for, including education, social services, healthcare, and disaster relief. And trust me, you don't want that if you live in a state prone to natural disasters.

"Domestic terrorism refers to the use of unlawful violence or force against people or property to intimidate or coerce a civilian population or government, with motives stemming from domestic ideological, political, or social objectives, and occurring primarily within the territorial jurisdiction of the U.S.. Key elements include acts dangerous to human life, the intent to coerce or influence policy through intimidation, and a domestic basis rather than foreign direction." Violence being a key part. "Social objectives" or "political" being another key part. The left is literally meeting the definition of domestic terror groups. The world we live in calls this the party of empathy....

@stevecoutney Yeah, want to stay away from rugging anything. Just need a better approach to launching where there is organic traffic/traders. See so many horrible coins send and I don't get it. Just would hate to spend a lot of time building a site for a meme launch just for it to flop.

The Left calls for murdering conservatives and there are still many who don't get this. It is not hyperbole. Oxford Union president George Abaraonye calls for political violence. He celebrated the murder of Charlie Kirk and called it a good start.
