@Abdod_The_Dude I can see those points. Idk I just get so tilted when they go golem the back in single, I loon, and they just play a hero mega minion or nado to king and face no repurcussions for playing 8 elixir first play. And don’t even get me started on egolem holy noskill

I do think many people underestimate the macro skills needed for beatdown decks Yes cycle has more micros but beatdown macros are important like for example lava is extremely hard to play...on paper its just spam stuff behind the lava but in practice 1 wrong lava in the back and ur game is over Cycle decks rarely lose to a card played in the back....an ice bow player could miss a rocket and hit nothing instead if your sparky and still take 0 damage....ive had it happen to me before

@Abdod_The_Dude why are you an advocate for beatdown when half of those cretins just play their win condition in the back first play to try and starting hand you. Also, playing battle healer mini pekka behind a golem in single isn’t skill. Fuck beatdown. I still love u tho ❤️

@Abdod_The_Dude Spamming spirits and dart goblins isn’t necessarily super skillful but at least they’re playing multiple cards with correct spacing and timing to beat me vs going lava the back and spamming air cards behind it

@Abdod_The_Dude Fair enough. I just feel(as someone who is NOT pro level) that when I lose to cycle, I usually felt like they played really well in order to beat me compared to like beatdown or bridge spam. Obviously there are exceptions to that but on average I’d say

DBs hold every drive. WRs shove DBs back every drive. My point is that if you suddenly decide to call it in THAT situation, then it’s kind of a disservice to the players for not setting that tone earlier in the game. Either you let them play or you don’t.
