According to our Premier Jacinta we have the toughest bail conditions of any state.
The woman that randomly stabbed another woman in the CBD was out on bail at the time.
How is that being tough on bail?
“Oh my god… I have no words.”

The manhunt for accused cop killer Dezi Freeman is the "largest tactical policing operation ever undertaken in Australia's policing history," a top Victoria Police official has revealed.
Freeman, 56, has been on the run since August 26, when he allegedly murdered two police officers, Vadim de Waart-Hottart & Neal Thompson.1 Since then, heavily armed specialist police have been "crawling through caves, traversing rivers and falls" to find him.
In a major development, police have now lifted the travel warning for the Porepunkah area, encouraging tourists to return for the school holidays, though they urged visitors to remain vigilant as the search continues in Mt Buffalo National Park.
A Deputy Commissioner said police have three theories: "he may still be in the area, it's a possibility he may be harboured or he may be dead." He added, "our resolve to find Freeman does not change."

Sydney Swans 🦢
A few contenders here, including names like Nick Malceski, Adam Goodes and Spida Everitt... but have to go with the dashing Irishman, Tadhg Kennelly. Love the way he played the game, love that he was my first window into the GAA.
🧵 We're definitely a partisan Cats pod, but just for fun I've decided to list my favourite player from the 17 other clubs during the 21st century:
Adelaide Crows 🐦⬛
A club that has never really raised my pulse. Eddie Betts transcends that, however. What a player.

Rest in peace, Jane Goodall.
You taught us that kindness is a form of strength and that respect for life in all its forms is the truest measure of humanity. You will be dearly missed. 💔

The Sydney Swans coaching ranks will be bolstered by the appointment of Simon Goodwin as the club’s new Director of Coaching & Performance.
Goodwin will work closely alongside Dean Cox and the rest of the coaching team to drive high performance standards, on and off the field.
@sydneyswans What's happened to the Swans recruiting no indigenous players no Irish players they have gotten themselves into a rut with their recruiting.
Dan Andrews hanging out with Xi, Kim Jong Un, Putin, Erdogan etc is actually one of the most incredible (literally) things I’ve ever seen in Australian politics.
