So, we came up with the solution for Canadian techs trying to expand/launch to Europe, but there is a phrase I have been pushing back on lately: "launching in Europe."
You do not launch in Europe. You launch in Berlin, Paris, Stockholm, or Madrid. The buyer in each city does not behave like the others.
The EU has 24 official languages and 27 member states. In SaaS specifically, the UK, Germany, and France account for 54% of European SaaS M&A in 2025 YTD, according to GP Bullhound's European SaaS Report 2025.
Your "European launch" is really several distinct launches.
This is where you need people who understand launching in Europe through and through.
Europe knows this and is working on it.
In May 2025, the European Commission launched a new Single Market Strategy with a roadmap to 2028. The Letta and Draghi reports both name fragmentation as the continent's biggest self-inflicted barrier.
So this is not a story about Europe being too hard. It is a story about timing and technical know-how. Until that unified market arrives, you do not have to wait for it.

You launch into the Europe that exists today, market by market, with the expertise of people who already know how each one works.

This was one of the most ridiculous displays of ignorance by @PeterObi ahead of that 2023 poll. They told you your manifesto was a bit light on key performance indicators considering you used a lot of data points. He was then asked:
"What would be the top 5 quantitative performance indicators by which Nigerians, if you are given the opportunity to lewd this country should Judge your Administration"
Peter Obi: I was waiting to come here to learn more of what I'm going to add".
He then went off points as usual and derailed an important conversation. Again, God will Judge all of you elevating the level he is simply not qualified to be.

This was the last text I ever received from my 34 year old Son, Edward. It was exactly a year ago today. Within hours he was gone. He decided he wasn't "OK" and he took his own life just after midnight. He was fighting on many fronts- Relationship problems, financial worry and issues with self esteem. I think about him 100 times a day. I'd do anything to get him back, even if it was just for 5 minutes. I'd say all the things to him that I didn't say when I had the opportunity. It's too late now. Please take care of your loved ones. Watch over them. Many are struggling. Many are thinking dark thoughts. Many will take the decision to end their own suffering. They need help and understanding. They probably won't get it from the "system" so it may be up to you. Give someone a call today to ask how they're doing. Tell them Edward suggested it.

These buffoons cut a 2024 video of PBAT and Macron where PBAT specifically mentioned that it is almost impossible to educate a starving population. He advocated for a school feeding program where a child in Nigeria can be assured of a pint of milk, a sandwich and egg. The funny thing is that he did it as Governor of Lagos in partnership with Cadbury, Nestle etc.
School feeding program is key to enrolment and attendance. If the almajiri child is assured of food in school, he will go to school. Even their parents would be the ones to push them to school. If a child on the streets of Lagos can eat a decent meal in School, they will stay in class.
The UK has a comprehensive school feeding program. The US has a National School Lunch Program. Trying to enroll and teach hungry kids in school is a waste of time.
You need to outgrow this 2022 cut and join video format.

I have known the name "Jarus" since 2010 on the education and job section of Nairaland. I started using Twitter in 2011 but I wasn't active until 2022/2023. The first time I saw the name Jarus again, on twitter, I instantly remembered it from Nairaland.
I read a lot of your articles on Nairaland. I always wondered about the kind of people behind the big names. The work rate of the mods and admins was just insane and top-notch.

I had almost all the information I needed to before, during and after school. And it made a lot of difference. This is why I made a lifetime commitment, since school, to share all information/knowledge/experience I had about education and careers to students and young grads who never had such access.
