Most think the memecoin bull run was just crazy in late 2024. In September 2025 it was at least the same. $ASTER launched and I missed it. Partied and drunk a bit. Came home and bidded the Coinbase beta. Fell asleep. Woke up +40K$ Life was good

@xknoxbt You know why this doesn’t happen anymore? Because all the tech believers got obliterated and have no money left. The best tech doesn’t help if you subsidize it on cost of your users/holders and have no proper economic idea

TGE decay is one of crypto’s worst diseases in modern crypto before tge, users judge the protocol. after tge, they judge the chart $mega is about to run into that wall if the token keeps underperforming, people will start pulling funds from the L2 even if the chain itself keeps improving this wasn't even the case when bnb, eth launched back then, users in crypto cared alot about the tech than token price actions bring back the cypherpunks, world-computer believers, DeFi nerds, rollup obsessives, public-goods builders, NFT believers and take away these charlatans

if you still believe in crypto you have to believe in @megaeth it’s not even an option at this point look around you, innovation is completely fried it doesn’t matter if you have been a monad or abstract day 1 supporter there’s nothing exciting happening anymore and ct is becoming cringier day by day one thing i’ll always support is trying to do things differently with genuine intention and that’s what megaeth has been doing for a long time now

@onchainmo to be fair Abstract did not hand out multipliers for e.g. allocations or other unobtainable things. they just made it so only people they handpicked/wanted to got multipliers basically (discord roles etc.)

I’m not a fan of the MegaETH multiplier system. It does the opposite of what it’s supposed to do. A small group gets incentivized with high multipliers, while the majority has little to none and feels disincentivized. Especially when a big part of those multipliers comes from things you can’t even obtain anymore. I get the idea of rewarding early alignment. But in practice, it just creates frustration. I can’t get the Fluffle multiplier anymore, even though I wanted to mint back then but wasn’t eligible. Same with the community sale, many wanted in but got no allocation. And now they are being punished on top of that. We’ve seen this before with Abstract, where the team handed out massive multipliers to a select group of handpicked users. It was one of the main reasons people left the ecosystem early on. I currently have a 90% multiplier and objectively, I probably benefit from the system since I’m above average. But even then, it’s demotivating knowing others are at 200% and more. So I can easily imagine how it feels for people who wanted to mint Fluffles and get into the community round, but weren’t eligible for either. Would love to hear the thought process behind this structure @bread_

M(OS)S will fix this.... OK great... The real question is why didn't @megaeth have a native solution at launch? The terminal is well thought out and could have been even better with a built in global wallet. The current setup is mess with dozens of privy wallets required to interact on this chain!

@bread_ @megaeth yo it lets me sign in via Twitter and gives me a wallet adress. But then every app wants me to sign in again and does not allow that wallet adress (as i can not find a way to export) or twitter.

MegaETH has done a lot of things differently, whether it's fundraising, TGE timing, or go to market. But maybe the most important signal to me was this: No $MEGA tokens will be given to any exchange for listings. So no side deals and hence no hidden sell pressure. It's no secret how I feel about shady CEX deals, so seeing a top tier team actually know their worth and act accordingly is refreshing. Because in the end, it's simple: Price performance = buy pressure – sell pressure And most teams sabotage themselves from day one by handing out tokens at a zero cost basis, creating guaranteed immediate or future sell pressure. Even a -99% dump is still profit for the counterparty, and that's exactly the game most CEXs play. There is no such thing as alignment with exchanges, nor do they differentiate. They only extract. As much as they can. Which makes this interesting: $MEGA is one of the most anticipated TGEs of the year, the demand is undoubtedly there. So what happens now? Good and honest exchanges (if such a thing exists) will list it anyway, because volume is volume. Extractive ones will list it too, just to maintain the illusion that listings are free. The only real question is Binance. If they don't list it, that's going to tell you everything. If they do, they're just playing the same game, only smarter. Either way, MegaETH is setting a precedent that should act as a role model for any founder launching a token in the future: 1) Know your worth. 2) Treat your token like equity, not monopoly money. 3) Don't sell out your community for short term optics. I don't even care what the price does. They've already won.
