In our test market, the most expensive artwork, $920, had the fewest purchases. The cheapest, $390, sold the fastest. Makes sense, right? It doesn't.

I built the first version of Gally in a single HTML file while embedded at a mining operation in Abuja. This is not the story of how things began as I expected.

The data is uncomfortable for anyone building in this space on assumptions. It's also exactly what the next generation of digital ownership markets needs to exist. Gally.world closed testing; no wallet required.

So I built a controlled environment to measure it. Curated artworks. Simulated capital. Real decisions. Every hesitation tracked. 8 weeks of data later, I understand how digital collectors actually behave. Not how they say they behave.

That's a lot of work: 34,000 lines in 5 days. It's exactly appropriate to focus on the viewer experience instead of just the sale page. The missing layer is still behavioural, knowing which collectors spent three minutes on a piece before leaving, which ones came back twice, and what stopped them from pulling the trigger. That's what we're making at gally.world. The data that led to the choice.

gallery . ack . art vibe coded in 5 days with Claude Claude wrote 34k+ lines of code, constant iteration i'm sure there will be bugs but i'll be monitoring and updating every day still adding some collections like fake rares and tezos, some frog works, physical work, grand skull piano, etc most collections are in and pulling on chain data, along with collector pages so we can see everyones ack bags i did this because it was fun and i believe every artist should attempt to enhance the viewer experience when it comes to understanding our art beyond a sale page or twitter timeline. i live in zbrush, c4d and blender so i wanted a gallery styling that lived in that world as well lots of lore and collections to work on but i always build in public so feel free to cruise around the site as i finish up over the coming days/weeks you can connect wallet as we are read only, so you won't be submitting transactions on the site directly, it links everything to opensea for ease and verification but we pull all on chain data through alchemy and opensea api highly recommend not using mobile, this is a desktop experience hope you like it

The art is excellent, and the lack of sales in months shows that the market, not the art, is to blame. There are collectors there. Commitment isn't. That's what we're learning at Gally. Why people put off making a decision, go back to it, and still don't do it. Your collection needs an audience that can make choices.

I know everyone loves @m0dest___ on my timeline for his art and approach, BUT one thing I have to say is he has a superb eye as a collector too… some of the best artists buy the best art… a little tip is to keep a track of what they are purchasing…
