@Trading_Balance Spending 12hrs in front of screen and not documenting your successes and failures is just creating bad habits which will be harder to undo the longer you do it. People trade for decades and struggle to stay breakeven because of this. You can't change it if you don't measure it

Talking to friends who are seeking help day trading and I am amazed how poorly they document their suffering, blurting out generic excuses that are a waste of time. Spending 12hrs plus in front of screens helps no one and you are definitely not learning anything, like someone pulling a slot machine learns absolutely nothing. Unfortunately most of you should look to do something else. I have seen entire floors of bright graduates fail to make the cut but somehow on Twitter it's all possible. Sadly, 5% is a good number tops even if you have a good mentor. Everyone knows what they need to be doing but very few actually do and confuse time wasted with execution. I hope you are all well and doing the right thing.

The question for the Fed this morning isn't whether to hike 25bp or 50bp this week. It's when do they start cutting rates, at least according to fed funds futures, which have priced out rate cuts and priced in rate cuts as soon as June.

This is not a new bull market, it's just an oversold pop. The Fed taking any sort of "less hawkish" action would ultimately prove to further solidify structural inflation.

Order book is so thin if turned sideways it would disappear.

Fed rate hike pause might be on the table now with these smaller banks in such trouble. Big short-term bounce back on the table.
