This is not just about personalities. It is about fundamental contradictions with US intelligence assessments and policies. Case in point:
Just as Russia was invading Ukraine, Gabbard sent out this decidedly pro-Russia tweet: “This war and suffering could have easily been avoided if Biden Admin/NATO had simply acknowledged Russia’s legitimate security concerns regarding Ukraine’s becoming a member of NATO, which would mean US/NATO forces right on Russia’s border.”

Breaking: President-elect Donald Trump has named former Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard as his pick for Director of National Intelligence.

@BillyGardell But it was okay, because your 9 year old older sibling was there to look out for you.

@BenStandig @JPFinlayNBCS @HeatherMcD4 “Luck of the spot” is for like 6 inches either direction. Not a full yard off. I’m not saying it was definitely a first down, but, it was definitely a bad spot. That play deserved a measurement. Two refs looked each other dead in the face and ran to the wrong place.
English

@BumpinFresh @JPFinlayNBCS @HeatherMcD4 The general view is its a first because he caught the ball beyond the line. Pointing the knee because makes that point moot.
The ball and knee appears to be about the same spot. Both on wrong side of the line.
Beyond that, luck of the spot, which is every play.
English

I'll regret this later, but gonna weigh in on 4th and 9 (footage h/t @JPFinlayNBCS and @HeatherMcD4).
I know Ertz catches the ball behind the yellow line. However, his knee hits on the wrong side before (it appears) being touched. If the line is accurate, game, set, match.

English

@BenStandig But why can’t replay officials re-spot the ball for an actual measurement, rather than trying to decide on the conversion via replay?
English

I would hope we all agree with Redcup here. If ruled a first down, would not be overturned.
If Ertz was hit behind the line (if accurate), also a first down.
Alas, neither of those things happened.

@BenStandig @JPFinlayNBCS @HeatherMcD4 Yet, hes still not at the 42 like they marked him. If they gave him the first on the field, they wouldn't have reversed this play.

@ByVarunShankar @CandaceDBuckner Are they too good for their own good?

@kirkacevedo @realkidvicious Found and followed over there. I’m the same name everywhere. @BumpinFresh

@funnydanny I’m comforting myself with the knowledge that without B.Rob and before Lattimore, Commies just SHOULDA won. They’ll be a better team next week.
English

@NickiJhabvala Commies went the wrong direction with it. Should have done gold/yellow towels. Made the Steelers fans work for US.
English

@lawindsor And that’s what’s I personally admire and want, as well. I want the honest and ugly truth.
But, uneducated white people can’t just be an electoral obstacle we accept. It bites us on the neck and drags us down, over and over.
English

@lawindsor The Right is better at reserving complicated and unpopular discussions for private and small groups, and hammering simple concepts in public.
The Left wants the public to face issues head on, and swallow bitter pills. We want leaders to speak ugly truths, on the biggest stages
English

Wow. Didn’t expect this from Chris Murphy.
Chris Murphy 🟧@ChrisMurphyCT
That was a cataclysm. Electoral map wipeout. Senate D practical ceiling is now 52 seats. R's is 62. Time to rebuild the left. We are out of touch with the crisis of meaning/purpose fueling MAGA. We refuse to pick big fights. Our tent is too small. 1/ Some early thoughts:

Corporate greed is DuPont making $1.62 billion in profits this year, spending $1 billion on stock buybacks, paying its CEO $20 million & being fined just $480,000 for the release of a chemical that causes leukemia.
It costs $508,250 to treat just 1 kid with leukemia in America.

@MCPD3DCommander @mcmdcao @mcpnews @GSSChamber Yall used a drone to bust 6 kids for shoplifting, and you’re bragging about it??

6 Juveniles arrested for retail theft: They thought they escaped, but little did they know the drone was overhead.... 😎
This afternoon your @mcpnews Drone as First Responder (DFR) team was busy monitoring live 911 calls. One of our downtown Silver Spring businesses called 911 to advise 6 juveniles swarmed the store and were stealing.
"RAVEN 1" was over the location within 30 seconds and spotted the suspects fleeing. They were tracked onto a Ride On bus and followed by the drone until patrol officers could intercept the bus.
All were arrested and stolen merchandise was recovered.
Thanks to @TakomaParkPD for assisting our officers.
Hey thieves!! We are coming for you 🫵🏼
Retail theft initiatives with uniform officers, plain clothes officers, and drones coming soon!!

@Markein @NickiJhabvala @Commanders Please embrace “Commies” as shorthand. It opens up a world of fun.

In September, a lifelong fan, Chris Gellner, sent me a DM with this idea. We immediately discussed and loved the idea and now every fan Sunday will get a burgundy @Commanders rally towel for the Steelers game. Can’t wait to feel the energy!!! washingtonpost.com/sports/2024/11…
