After reading We are Water Protectors, the students picked out their own small bits of nature (leaves, grass, flowers) to add to our heroine’s hair. Her hair is one way the illustrator shows strength and connection to nature! @HISDLibraryServ @burbankesHISD @CaroleLindstrom

November Leadership Bingo  Leadership roles don’t just occur in the classroom...they take place in your home too! Please have your child clear the entire board by completing the tasks. Turn it in by Friday, December 1st to your child's homeroom teacher for a small prize. 🫶🏼

Our culture team met one of our October goals! One of our “little rocks” was to add to this board & give students a sense of leadership by adding notes of encouragement and positivity. Now students can come grab whatever note they “need”, when they are having a bad day! ❤️💚💙

Yesterday in PE our Kindergarten working on simple balance, visual tracking and spatial awareness….using scooter boards for spatial awareness ,balance bridge for simple balancing and basketball for visual tracking
