@Bkitch1Bodie We run a gerringhoff and a Deere and would choose the Deere all day long. Deere is 2 years old and gerringhoff is 3 so not quite apples to apples but we prefer the Deere
@ahorinek I should add, the Deere is a 2019, both Claas' we got new and the Deere is leaps and bounds more reliable. Running 42ft strippers and 16 row corn heads on both
@ahorinek We run a Claas 8600 and a Deere S770...... I may be the only one in the comments that's anti Claas. We will fully go back to two Deeres in the future. Ran a Claas 7500 the last two years, then switched to an 8600 this year. We should have stuck with the 7500 if staying with claas
Toying with 4,300 - 4,600 bph while unloading at 5.5 bushel per second feels almost illegal to a guy who has only ran class 6 and 7 Deere machines 😂.
This thing is a #cornkilla 🌽🌽
@BlaseFarms After reading these replies I may be the only one who would choose a Deere over Claas. We've ran a 7500 and 8600 Claas along side our Deere 770. The down time on the Claas' has been insane, maybe dealer support is our issue but I'll be sticking with the Deere
I may be opening up a whole can of worms here but anyone have an opinion on Deere vs Claas in the class 7 size range? Might have an opportunity to upgrade and thinking of these two as my choices.
@jwilgenburg1@kenneyjosh12 We have non-stop issues with the Reichhardt green fit system in our fendt, would have to do battery disconnects 4-5 times between every start every morning....... dealer just said there's nothing they can do
@heitingfarms@speerman42@ksufearless Yes we are in a LEMA and it seems in most irrigation areas in our county the aquifer water levels have started to level off, we have even had some water levels rise 12-18" in a few areas.
@Burch21@speerman42@ksufearless Where I farm it's close. Been on water restrictions since 07 water levels have maintained for the most part and have increased in spots.
@BrettSchroede17@Cjstein33 Just thinking here, if you picked a different "point" and watched it the way you watch the wind towers, do you think you would see storms split? Basically I'm
Asking if it could just be a coincidence.
So far so good on team row cleaner and 2x2 in 80 bushel stripper stubble. If this will keep working we won’t have to surface band our N and hope for a rain to incorporate it
@jcmerts@laurafarms_ I've ran strip trials of 10.5k, 12.5, 14.5, 16.5 and 18.5k on dryland the last 4 years, yields have ranged from 35-115 and 14,500 has won every year. For CC and into wheat stubble
Anyone on AgTwitter know anyone who wants a cowboy job in Western Ks? Housing, work vehicle provided. Cow/calf, small feedlot, some truck driving. House has 4 bedrooms and school bus can come on route, if kids/schooling is needed.
DM or comment if interested, I’d appreciate it!
Any seed or chem dealers out there need a cheap runner to make deliveries?? Solid unit. We also mount our seed tender on it during planting season. #corn#Agxauctiontime.com/listings/truck…
