Little windy in the Texas Panhandle last night

This area is relentless, 35k acres burned last few days, followed up by 50mph winds it’s awful out

@farmerjim13 I didn’t even get wheat up this year! Opened up lots of summer opportunity if it would rain. Need cow feed in the worst way, need milo stalks for grazing hopefully a win when it rains.

Well the brightside of farming through a drought is you don't really have to worry about drifting onto wheat when all the wheat around has been sprayed out.

To make matters worse it’s all bladed up from trying to stop said fire. Have to till to smooth off. Cluster

Everytime I have really good wheat stubble the shit gets burned off in a wildfire. Pretty expensive way to summer fallow, then have no cover anyways.
