I have to ask, if the City felt that a 29 story building would be damaging to the community, why on earth would it attempt to argue that a 22 story building would be acceptable? In terms of impact to neighbours, there is insignificant difference between those two outcomes. 1/n

How unfortunate, the mayor tried to politicize this vote by only providing part of the story and indirectly shaming councillors who disagree with her.

Inclusionary zoning can be a good thing but, imagine finding out that the unit you are looking at will cost more than you originally thought to subsidize the cost of building affordable, below-market units in the same building!
