I feel like this is a bigger deal than people think, him saying that basically means he’s comfortable texting Counsell (or another high ranking coach) that the POBO and GM are dumb and fucked them at last year’s deadline.

He’s pretty deep in with the org based on the years he’s been on the beat. Because of that you got CC giving him a birthday card at Spring Training this year. The names for Jed & Carter (we assume) are surprising based on how he asks questions and speaks about the org publicly

The Bruce thing is a big deal because whoever he meant to message that to he's clearly comfortable enough with to speak to about the FO that way etc. And if he's that comfortable, that person (coach) could feel the same way. I'm pretty interested lol
