This is what we're proposing to do (slide I is the emergency call we've just set up to glisten the process): - liase with credible doctors to get us contacts in General Hospitals so we sort confirmed cases directly at the hospitals, - have standby volunteer Doctors have quick chats with as many requests that came in today, as possible so they can confirm/dispel cases. So if you submitted a request today, look out in the DMs later this week for instructions on how to join the vetting call -if you've not submitted, you can still submit using the hashtag #PeopleHelpingPeople IT IS PARAMOUNT for us that, dubious frauds do not see this as a payday with doctored reports so we have to do it well. Even if you share 10 million naira, the agony and pain is endless. How many people can you help? Give away helps but it hasn't even fixed all the problems. Sometimes, I wish I had power to erase these pain. My DM is a mess. From rent, to bills, to feeding, to school pocket money to capital for business - the needs are endless. People ask me if these anonymous messages of infidelity and heart break doesn't affect me. It doesn't. I've since understood the human capacity to self destruct and I do not put people on pedestal. Nothing surprises me. I'm just giving them an audience so you learn and make better choices. You can't be going through this hard life and still be dating nonsense. What actually hurt me is the gross poverty that breaks people's pride and humanity. People are at their lowest and most humble when they are poor and needy. Reading messages like that are what actually gets to me. Unfortunately, I do not have the political or economic power to help everyone. I do apologize for our political reality that doesn't consider the welfare of its people.
